Hi khalidmna and welcome to ECF!

Yes, what Susan said above is true. vaping is very dehydrating - the juices draw water out of your body, producing those nice thick clouds of vapor you see. So drinking plenty of water while vaping is important.

Hope this helps and Happy Vaping!

Well I'm worried about pucker pout lips. Yes these lips belong to me and very few others.

Laying all jokes aside (which is really hard for me) vaping does dehydrate. I have read many articles regarding smoking/vaping/thyroid issues.

Here are some symptoms you may experience when you stop smoking. (check out #13)

I have had hypothyroidism since the early 90's and eventually had to have my thyroid removed and had Hashimoto's Disease. I know without a doubt dry skin, hair and nails is a symptom. I am not trying to scare you, because it is most likely due to dehydration but I also felt the need to say something just in case it was something that you may want to google and research. or mention to your doctor. Good luck to you.

Rat2chat2 - Thanks for mentioning thyroid issues. My daughter was diagnosed after we quit smoking and before we started vaping, and started drinking more water and using more intensive moisturizers once she did some research. Sometimes I think we get so caught up on the fact that vaping is dehydrating that we forget that there may be causes other than vaping for some issues.
