I am so frustrated I could scream. I am posting in the newbie forum however I have been vaping for a year and bought countless $ of equipment, built my own coils, tried all kinds of heads. I had settled on a Vaporesso ceramic ccel head for my Pico Mega/Melo 3 and been using that awhile with decent results but suddenly getting dry hits and dull flavor. Every head I have tried it seems one works, then the next one doesn't. Sometimes I get 120ml through them no problem, sometimes I can't get a day. I have cleaned my equipment, changed batteries, checked o-rings and everything I can think of. I am vaping at 30w with .5ohm usually. Building my own coils was a pain in the a** and I could never get the same results twice. Can someone please tell me a foolproof inexpensive replacement head for my Melo 3? I also like my Cleito but can never get heads that work in that either.

So from the same blister pack some are good and some crap out? That's the problem with factory coils where inconsistent QC results in good ones and duds. Pretty much why most of my vaping is on my own coils. Once you get a build down that works for you just try building and wicking the same way every time. With some practice you should be able to get a reproducible, reliable build each time. On the ccells no magic advice, and other Melo 3 compatible coils I can't help out on as I don't have it.

I'm around 6.5 watts with 1.5-2 ohm spaced single coil on a RDA and never get a dry hit. RDA's are so sensitive that you can taste a dry hit coming. I also use only deep well RDA's (Magma, Origen V1 & V3 ) which hold a mil or more of juice and last me 45 min. to an hour or more before refilling.
