Hey there.

I've had my kayfun Lite Plus for a couple of months now, and I have been having some trouble with it.
I keep getting dry hits on it.

I don't understand it, because I've been using the same setup as on my Russian 91%.
And I allmost never have any trouble vith that.

I've been using a 0.4-0.5 ohm coil made from 27 gauge wire, and an organic cotton wick.

Hope you can help me with this problem.

That's pretty low resistance for a kayfun. Is there a particular reason you're going that low? Reason I ask is b/c you're likely having an issue where juice is being cooked faster than it can get wicked. Also, the Russian 91% has adjustable airflow and while the KFLv2+ has it as well, I don't think the original does (I may be wrong here w/your model). Either way, if you're running this on a VV/VW device, up the resistance. Try an 8/9 wrap of 28g and aim for 1ohm or so. Also, be really careful about how you pack your wick. You want "just snug but loose". But yeah, if you can, rebuild with a higher resistance coil.

It's an original kayfun. I think it's the v2. Anyway, it has adjustable airflow.
But when I tighten it up to the point where I don't get any dry hits, it just starts leaking.

I'm running it on a mech. That is why I have the low resistance.
I tried wrapping a coil around a thicker bar than I usually use, last night.
It meant having to up the resistance a little. So I guess I'll have to get some thicker wire, when I get back home. If I want to get back down to 0.4 ohms.
But that helped a lot.
