How do I avoid this? Having a hard time .... thanks!
Would be nice to know the tank, coil, wattages, juice, etc. Is it drop in coils or are you rebuilding? Most likely not pre saturated enough and possibly starting out with to much power. Need to start lower with power and move up a little slowly. Could also be to thick of a juice or just to much power for coil. How do I avoid this? Having a hard time .... thanks!
Umm, its a super tank with super tank coilsWould be nice to know the tank, coil, wattages, juice, etc. Is it drop in coils or are you rebuilding? Ok so in the center hole too?Prime like you would any other replaceable head.
Drip drops in wicking holes on body of head & on wicking material from top until fully saturated.
Then install in base fill tank let sit for a few minutes.
If you just filled tank then zapped it with 44w likely you burned / scorched the wicking material.

Look for the bubbles also. The point in priming a head is to saturate the wicking material, so, wherever you see access to the wicking material.
Eskie's point of gradually / gently ' breaking in ' a new / unused head is spot on IMO / IME too.
