Dry Hits

Dear All Veteran Vapors,

I got following concern:-

1) How to prevent Dry Hits.
2) How to drag when on high watt.

1) make sure your wick is always juiced
2) normal drag?!?!?! switch to claptons and you can go higher wattages

If your wicking cannot keep up with the rate that the coil is vaporizing your e-liquid then it will scorch. Solution ~ improve the efficiency of your wicking, make the e-liquid less viscous by adding more PG or reduce your wattage.

Did you prime your coil before use, and let the juice sit there for 3 mins before first vape?

If thats not the case, probably your wicking though.. wa first time vaping already nickel ah?!

I never used nickel but IF im not wrong, it should be 420-430F. Be careful because if anyhow play it will harm you.

it happened to me today while i was in TC mode, kena dry hit vaping horny mango. turns out i didn't wait for my coil to cool down enough b4 setting its resistance. maybe u should let ur tank cool down for 15min to 30min(the longer the better), then u set its resistance see how.

You probably should try wattage mode with kanthal before jumping into TC. Reason being you need to familiarise yourself with coiling and wicking which is very crucial. Then you need to understand how TC works for different coils. If you jump straight into it without knowing anything, haha.. idk bro. You are like asking for it.

And also, different mods work differently for TC.

i have lower my temp to 430F around 20watt for 27ohm, feels good currently. I'm getting a new tank smok tfv4 mini
