DSE 801 having a burning taste no matter what!

Hey guys,

I bought a DSE 801 about a week ago and I'm getting a burning taste!

I've used multiple cartridges and I still get the burning. I make sure to top off the cartridges and keep them full as well, and I've even tried blowing out the atty and dry burning it (gives no burning taste for some reason).

I'm using an automatic battery as well, so the Highping method doesn't really work too well here.

Vapor production is fine and I'm getting clouds, but I'm getting burning with multiple cartridges and multiple juices as well.

I've tried the straw mod, as well as the pen-spring autofill mod as well.

No luck.

Sounds like a wicking issue. Is your cart filler to high up to wick? And are you putting a few drops in the atty before you pop the cart in after the cleaning? Try dripping with just the cart cap on and see if you get the burnt taste.

My cart is filling up to level with the actual cart, so it doesn't extrude or anything.

I put a few drops on the atty to prime it, and vaping it dripped doesn't give me a burning taste either.

This burning started yesterday pretty much :/


Any other proper ways to clean a 801 atty?

Might need to clean the filler than. Or just replace it. Does it look a little brown at the end? About my only thought if dripping is fine but he cart isn't.

The fillers are clean, they're actually both brand new cartridges, no brown color at all.

I don't get it at all :/
