I bought a starter kit including 2 batteries 2 weeks ago and then 3 extra batteries a week ago, and have been rotating them.

Over the weekend, the batteries didn't seem to be lasting as long, and now all five of them are dead, with the last one lasting only an hour (I'm desperately waiting for another battery to 'charge').

Given that all 5 batteries are now not holding a decent charge, do you think this is something wrong with my wall charger that came with the kit?

Do you think all 5 of the batteries are now 'bad' and that I'll need to replace them ASAP?

Yes, I've emailed the supplier, but that was only 90 minutes ago. I expect I'll be able to get replacements fairly quickly, but in the meantime -

I'm smoking analogs! They're really AWFUL!

I had 2 batteries than died in less than a week, I was sent a charger and atmy and 2 batteries and the supplier ask me not to use any of the first part he sent me before, the new batteries are ok ,after a month I start using the old charger and is ok, I have not tried the old atmy on batteries only on a sealed passthroug, what happen I dont know yet,I opened one of the dead batteries and there was not liquid on it.
It was odd 2 batteries in a row, but you have 5 batteries in a row, I have to follow this tread.

Well - I have a charged battery right now, so I'll see how long THIS one lasts while I re-charge another one.

Ahh - ecig! SO much better than the 3 analogs I smoked while waiting for a battery to charge.:D
then your batteries are working, one charge only last 2 or 3 hour if you try to vapor as you use to smoke

Well, I WAS doing fine with two batteries in a day - but now the batteries don't seem to be holding a decent charge. My last battery only lasted an hour, so I had to wait another couple of hours for one to charge up. Hopefully this one will last longer!
do you have manual or auto batteries, do you have only one atmy or more?

I have automatic batteries. I have a spare atomizer that is still in it's sealed plastic bag. I've been cleaning the atomizer every few days by blowing compressed air through it, and it seems absolutely fine.

The atomizer heats up a LOT if I keep puffing away, so I try to remember to take a no-puff break for a minute or two when I'm at work, outside on my 'smoke' break.

Ahhhh yes, memories.
4 dead batteries in 10 days.
I knew I could make the total switch to vaping - and the equipment just wasn't consistant enough to keep me happy.

Depending on how often you vape - there is a lifespan to the parts you're buying.
Vape once in a while - like an .... log break every couple hours - you get longer life from your batteries.
'Chain Vape' - every few minutes all day long.....
be prepared to buy at least 4 batteries a month ---- if not 6 or even 8.

I chose to keep the DSE901 attys (since at peak performance they gave me what I needed) AND invest in another battery option so I can use $2 batteries that last 2-3 months each (and need recharging after 6-8 hours of ongoing vaping)

Check out the battery modders forum if you or someone you know can build you something there are great instructions there.

OR Look into the possibility of investing in a more durable P/V
Screwdriver - Adaptever - Silver Bullet - Prodigy -GG.
It's a bit of a chunk of change to start with
and so very worth it to finally get a great vape - first time and every time...

I have absolutely no desire and no need to return to fire stix.

30 years of smoking
Vaporized by my Screwdriver!

my personal opnion is that cleaning atmy could be dangerous and mostly as frecuently as you do, try another atmy and take care that auto batteries can turn on by itself on a noise environment or even when you move or walk faster than normal

It sounds like your charger is the problem. But overall, based on how it sounds like you vape, I agree with souporvapor on getting one of the premiere devices that will eliminate all of your frustrations. You can get 5-8 hours of heavy vaping on a charge with these batteries and the really good part is the batteries only cost about $2. Another advantage is these type of batteries can be recharged about 1000+ times whereas the regular 901 auto batteries can only be recharged about 150-200 times before they are dead for good.

Most of these better PV's also work with 901 atomizers if that is the ones you like. They do cost more initially but you more than get your money back due to the $2 batteries. Plus they just work much better. Here are some links:

Hey, Mountaineer!

I've only been vaping for two weeks. At THIS point I like the fact that my DSE901 looks enough like a 'real' cigarette that when I'm at work or otherwise out 'in public', it doesn't really raise questions.

BUT - at this point I've already decided to get a manual USB passthru for my 901 - it's on its way from Rocky Mountain Vapor - for my 'at home' vaping.

But at some point I should look into getting one of the PV's, especially since my 20 minute commute each way will be more like 90 minutes when my company moves in a few months.

Can you advise me on +/- for the 'Big Seven'?

Well, the Janty Stick and the Screwdriver are both 3.7 volt devices, whereas the Prodigy and GG are 5 and 6 volt devices. So you are going to get more throat hit with the 5/6 volt PV's. The screwdriver will give you longer battery life 6-8 hours over the 5-6 hours of the Prodigy (PD) and the GG. The PD and GG are more versitile since you can use them with the 901, 801 and 510 atomizers. Personally I think the PD and GG work best with the 801 atomizers which is better suited to handling the larger power output. The Super T and AdapRever will be on par with the Screwdriver. The LV has both 3.7 and 6 volt versions. If I had to choose I would probably go with the Prodigy, then the Screwdriver and then the Janty Stick. But all of them are fine PV's. I have not tried the Super T yet but notice it does have a few extra features such as a button that locks. Puresmoker is also coming out with a 3.7v smaller PV called the Protege.

Hopefully some of this helped.:)

Good Luck

Aha - I found the real problem - it's not the charger, it's the power strip it was plugged into. I took my charger and dead batteries to work today and recharged there, and I'm pretty sure that I'm getting a decent amount of vaping on a single full battery.

I need to test some more, though!

With any luck, I'll be just fine - and if not, I'll have learned a lesson. I've never 'solved' an electrical problem just by moving where I'm plugged in!
