This is a little video I made of the DSE-905. A 3.7 volt and 6 volt vaper comparison. Enjoy.

Yes.....the inside had to be bored out in order to fit the cr2 batteries.I was under the impression that the cr2 batteries were too large to physically fit in the 905 body. Did you have to mod the unit at all? I wonder if the non-rechargeables are that much smaller than the rechargeable cr2s if that's not the case.

As it infers in the vid, <http://www.aquavaporcig.com> will be selling them modified for the purpose.
I'm a little concerned.
My stock, week old, 905-V2 has twice either stayed on after I took my finger off the button or fired up by itself.
There's something in the manual (in Chinengrish) about it blinking many times and going into a cleaning burn every so often. Mine didn't light up. I only knew about it being on because the atty got quite hot. The last time it was hot enough to melt the lip of the 801 cart I was using.
Has anyone else had similar experience with these?
THIS can happen if you don't pay attention....![]()
Mine did the same thing on the first day. I believe it's the cleaning cycle. I didn't get any melting (maybe because I detected the heat and quickly unscrewed the atty. The cycle completed about an hour later. It did discolor the cart. But there doesn't seem to be any burnt taste. It's set to clean every 1000 puffs. I'm still waiting on the next cycle.
That's just a standard one-piece 901 cart....I've never seen a black cartridge chamber, only black tips. Did it start off black or turn black from charring?
What is the bore size ?? I need to check my drills to see if I have the right one
That pic was the result of my inattention at 3.7V... 8-o
Since then I got a replacement top (the piece with the button and where the atomizer screws on) and it has NOT happened again, so apparently that problem has been fixed!
Just waiting for some rechargeable CR2 batteries now....![]()
The unit that melted the cart in my pic was a V2...Well I have a V2 top and it will still cook down. Keep a real close eye on it.
