Hi All,
In addition to my ego setup, I got a DSE801 starter kit because I wanted something that looked more like an analog when out in social settings and I wanted an auto bat for times when I wanted to vape while working with both hands and could not press a button. Many reviews liked the DSE801 for flavor and bat life.
However, I have had little luck with the stock cart/atty. I soak the cart pretty well and prime the atty with a few drops, and the vape is good for a few minutes and then stops producing.
Any tips or suggestions to get the stock setup to work well?

I am thinking of going with a carto? I found some 801 Fusion cartos from Ikanvape, some Boges from Liberty Flights and some Bauway cartos from madvapes. It seems the Bauway cartos hold twice as much as the previous two but there are alot of DOAs reported in the reviews. Again, any suggestions or personal experience with the 801 and these cartos?

I have a DSE801 ( actually I have 6 of them ) I have notice also the first few vapes are wonderful but after that the vapor and TH is low. I think thats because its a small battery and it needs to cool down after a few vapes. This is why I bought six of them so I can take a few hits off one, then pick up the other one, and so on.

How many drops are you putting in the cart? I usually start out with around 10 and 3 in the atty and top off when the taste change. Lately I am using the 801's more than the Riva. I love the clean taste of cartridges. I have the same juice in my Riva with a carto as I do one of the 801 and the taste is so much better in the DSE.

Vapor King is having a clearance sale on DSE801 $7 for the battery, $5 for the atomizer and $3 for 5 blank cartridges. You have buy each piece seperate and does not come as a kit unless you pay $45. Buying seperate comes out to $12 for one. This is why I have so many I picked them up real cheap.

I did not know they had cartos for the 801 so please let me know how they work out when you get them.

I've been using the cartos from MV on my Sparkplug at 3.7 and I've been very pleased with them so far and haven't gotten a DOA yet (knock on wood).

With my regular 801 batts and atty's I found that I had to keep them darn near flooded to keep them happy and producing well...then there was that nice little plus that at that point they tend to be leaky buggers so I was married to a PV "spit rag" to keep wrapped around it so that I didn't wind up with a real mess. Moving to the cartos once I picked up the Sparkplug in the classies here really did the trick for me - so much so that I'm planning on buying another 801 auto PT if I can find one for raid nights.

I'v used BE112 attys (better, low-bridge version of the DSE801), the mini 801's, the Fusion 801 cartos and the Bauway 801 cartos from MadVapes. I think they do a very good job, but for me and many other fans of the 801, only at around 5.0 volts. I find they are just too cold at 3.7 volts but really come alive at around 5.0 volts with fuller and warmer vapor.
