Dual 18650 vs Single 26650

If I had two 18650s parallel to each other would this double the volts or amps? If not would it be better to get a 26650 mod that can handle 50a sonys? I saw Rip using two sony 18650s with a .06 build which seems wrong unless two equal out to be 60a. Not gonna try it til I get a proper answer though.

Volts are doubled in series, not parallel

Okay, thanks. Would it still be safe to be at the 30a discharged with them stacked?

I don't like batteries in parallel. In actual practice the weaker battery drags down the stronger one.
