dual 28g coils?

Before I go ahead and wrap 2 coils to find out that it isn't working and waste my kanthal, I thought I would ask here.

I have a nimbus rda and a Vamo.

would dual coils with 28g kanthal work with this, or would the Ohms be too low?

and most importantly if it works would the vape be good?

I would think it would be too low. I'm doing a 5x5 28g at 1.5mm and sitting at 0.3ohm. You could try a 6x6 at 3mm and use cotton or 3mm wick.

In my Kayfun I have a coil wrapped over a cotton swap (have no tools), at 9 - 10 wraps getting 1.8 ohms.

When you double the coils you need to 1/2 the ohms…

So dual 2.0 ohm coils would produce a 1 ohm total build.

Most VW VV mods will fire this. As long as it's wicked well you should be good to go. Mechanicals can go much lower but I would be hesitant to drop below .5 ohms just because the heat would be crazy hot!

Yes, it will be too low. I use 28g on my nimbus with 7/8 wraps and duals come out to .9 (microcoils). However, try a single 8 wrap with that wire and see if you like it. That's around 1.4, 1.5 and it works fine on my SVD. The stock airflow holes on the nimbus are pretty small, so if you're going to do dual coils at sub ohms, you'll want to drill them out to get enough airflow to keep 'em cool.

Remember though the diameter of the wrap makes a difference.

I do have some 32g wire but I just feel that they don't produce good vapor.
Even with 2 the vapor is so thin and with little to no taste compared the the thickness of my Kayfun.

I have tried to get this Vamo to fire at 1 ohm but it wouldn't do it.

so I would basically have to get two 2.6 ohm coils for it to work.. Well I have almost no wire left so it might not be a good time to experiment with it.

With a single 28g coil in my RDA, which I also have in my kayfun, wouldn't make much of a difference compared to my Kayfun would it?
