Dual Cartomizer Clarification Question

I've been using using ecigs exclusively for 2 yrs, and surprisingly enough, I have never tried cartomizers. But I have some on the way. They are 1.5 ohm dual carts.

On a 1.5 dual carts I read somewhere on ECF that they are 1.5 on each end. So does that make it a 3 ohm DC?

When a supplier sells DC's and says they are 3.0 ohms does that mean they are 1.5 on each end to add up to 3? Or 3 ohms on each end?

Dual coils are usually two 3ohm coils in series to make a 1.5ohm cartomizer.

They are 2x 3 ohms in parallel to make 1.5 ohms carto. Elec engineer here

So when a seller says they are 3 ohm dual carts they are really 1.5 on each side?

Just confused, because some sellers list it as 1.5 dual carts and some list it as 3 ohm dual carts. So is that the same thing?
