I cannot speak in regards to the dual coil vivi nova. I've only seen european stores carry them as they are widely popular over there. I've only seen dual coil atomizer heads for the nova over here. I can speak in regards to the dual coil stardust V3 that i bought from Litecig. I like a strong throat hit and bold flavor and the DC V3 is the only clearo that has worked for me so far. I'm getting muted flavor and weak hit on all other setups i tried so far except for dripping. i am about to pull the trigger on a few DC vivi nova heads since i prefer the design, durability and functionality of the nova over the V3.

I just pulled the trigger on the iClear dual coil i30 and i16, so we'll see how that goes.
If you want a good TH go to bottom coil. Something like a ProTank should do the job.
I have a protank and find it kind of airy... TH is pretty good, but I find the smaller vivi's at 1.8 on a regular ego gives me the best TH. Kind of weird because I hear alot of people saying that they love bottom coil. I'm going to try my Protank with a different juice and see if it makes a difference.
Try putting an air flow controler on your mod. It will allow you to manualy adjust the draw on your KPT, allowing you to keep your TH and resolves the "airy draw" issue.
I found the throat hit to be airy and dry on the evod and other BCC units. This creates a weak hit. I had to puff till the battery cut off after like 8 seconds. I prefer top coils for throat hit and for a super awesome throat hit try a dual coil clearo such as the iclear 16/32, vision v3+ DC, or try the DC atties for the vision vivi nova. I recommend 1.8 ohms dual coil on a standard ego battery or spinner/twist (running at 32.-3.7 volts).
I've tried both single and dual coil units. Either is satisfactory, but I've notice a couple of "dry" hits using the dual coil units. Maybe my carto just wasn't wet enough at the top..?
