I just recently ordered a bunch of these, and am using them on a Precise+ 18650 with the protected AW 3.7v batteries that they sell over there. The issue I'm having with these cartos aside from any others that I've tried is that the coils don't kick in until quite a while after giving them power.

I can literally hear the first coil kick in after about 10 seconds of holding the button, and the second coil kick in about 5 seconds after that. So it's literally a full 10-15 seconds before they even begin to produce vapor and then even after that the vapor production is very low. I was thinking it was an issue with one of them so I tried a few others and they all seem to do the same thing.

This doesn't seem like a common issue as I haven't heard a lot of complaints aside from one that I found on google. I ordered the 2.5ohm cartos and am using them on the 3.7v mod. Should there be an issue with vapor production with this matchup? I've never had a problem at those ohms with normal atty's at 3.7v.

Thanks for any help in advance,
Jive

Edit: I just read on your website that these probably work better at 6v. Go figure! I'm pretty good at skimming over the important bits. Would the 1.5 Ohm cartos work better at 3.7v?

Hi Jive,

Can you post your order # so I can see exactly what you have? The 2.5 Ohm cartomizers we have are for the Dual Coil Tanks...but I'm getting the feeling you don't have a DCT so I just want to double check.

If they -are- 2.5 DCT cartos, they don't really work well at 3.7 volts. The 1.5's would definitely be more ideal.

Thanks
Rob

I actually built a tank myself with 3/4" OD 5/8" ID polycarbonate tubing and some SS end caps. I just simply removed the flat surface from the bottom of a couple of the carto's to make them fit by grinding it off. Order#: 62050 placed on 03/01/2012

These work perfectly as far as the precut hole for juice flow, but the vapor production is just way down. I'm thinking it's just simply a matter of my voltage being too low.

Awesome, thanks Rob. Live and learn. I'll definitely be placing an order for the 1.5Ohm's. Because aside from the that issue, these things are perfect flavor production and don't leak a single bit.

Edit: I'll hold on to these for when Super T get's their variable voltage insert out for the mod that I got and they should be pretty spectacular for that.
