Here's something interesting... I ordered some generic dual coils for my MT3S's hoping they would actually work: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1640705 . Well, got them in and tried them on the MT3S I had open at the time, and, didnt work. Bummed, I put then aside until later thinking that they do work in the EVOD and are easy to rebuild, so I wasnt out a whole lot. Yesterday, I was playing around and tried the coils in another MT3S and low and behold, they worked! Intrigued, I tested them in all 6 MT3S's and 2 T3S's.. They actually fit and work in 4 of the MT3S's! Looking at this farther, I found that there are 2 different versions of the MT3S - One has a little extra 'lip' on the air tube where the silicone cup seals that makes it slightly longer, and the other doesn't have it, making it a little shorter. That little lip is the cause of the EVOD size coils not fitting. Its also the reason, I believe, that some people find the T3S/MT3S to be too 'airy' and leak - the coils are not making a proper seal to the air tube on the ones w/o the extra length. With these dual coils in, the draw is correct, the flavor is improved, and the vapor is awesome for an EVOD type.. Now, I need to find a way to mill/sand off that little lip on the others :)

Anywho, just in case someone is actually reading this thread...

I have been using them for over a week now in 4 tanks using NETs and tonight I decided that instead of simply dry burning, they were due for a rewick.. with cotton :)

Was easy as any, like RDA easy, and it ups the flavor, vapor and wattage I can vape at.. These are a good deal for changing your MT3S's to Dual Coil, super easy to rewick, and as I will soon find out, (I hope) MUCH easier to recoil than a standard over/under Kangor head.. :toast:
