DUD Turning Juice Dark Brown?

Could be time to change the coil out. That's my cue to do so. I have to wrap a coil once a week.
This is only day 2 with the coil, going to give it a dry burn and see if that fixes it.
Are both coils the same resistance? And are you vaping them both at the same wattage?
Is the wick solid or hollow? A hollow wick can pull 'extra' juice up to the heated area and then flow back down when you don't vape it for a bit.
Yes it is normal. I've had juice turn dark in CE2s, Vivi Novas, Gennys, any top coil device. I'm just curious why it's happening faster in one than the other, if it's the same juice.
I found my juice doesn't discolor as much if i don't burn juice on the wick after i oxidize it, and it also helps if i burn the old juice and briefly re-oxidize the wick when i wrap a new coil. Personally i get better flavor doing it this way, but YMMV.
the other tank system is a carto,which the juice flows through the bottom,,the juice darkens in a carto too,but you won't see it till you tear apart the carto,the brown gunky stuff will build up underneath the heating coil in a carto
I use light colored liquid as well...I never get the juice turning darker at all. I know some people were having this problem. They were overly torching their wicks. Another reason could be if you have straw like wick with a big hole going through it. The juice goes up boils and comes back down. IF you have a very tine hole in the wick you should be ok.
I am now on my second tank after cleaning it out and wrapping a new coil. The discolored tank im going to chalk up to burning juice while trying to adjust the coils.
