I have a quick technical question about duel coil cartomizers. Does anybody know if they are wired in series or in parallel? I started using duel coil carto tanks all day on my ego twist, and I expected to see my battery life shorten. This hasn't happened. In fact, I seem to be getting better battery life than I was using a single coil cartomizer. This seems backwards to me.

My 100th post - yeay! :D

Spaceballsrules are right, a 1.5ohm dual coil, is essentially two 3ohm coils in parallel. I buy 1.5ohm dual coils, and clip the top electrical wire loop, to make it a single coil 3ohm carto! It works great! BTW I find, since the 2 coils are mounted vertically above each other, you may occasionally get a burnt tast, or even worse, burn the filler around the top coil, if it runs a little low on juice.

There should be zero difference to battery life, running a single coil 1.5ohm vs a dual coil 1.5ohm - it is still just 1.5ohm !
