dulce de leche and "ageing"

One of the flavors that arrived on Wednesday was Dulce de Leche....tried it the first day and couldn't taste it at all.....

tried it again today (Friday) and already there is a significant change.....vaped it with my eyes closed and my first reaction was "hot caramel sundae"....

definitely a keeper....

It's a very subtle flavor. I still don't think it's a very strong, and I've ran out of all my other (tasty vapor) flavors until the next shipment is in, so I've had time to become very well acquainted with it. I have resorted to adding some maple flavored e-liquid to give it more "color". It's good, don't get me wrong, but it isn't the most vibrant tasty vapor I've come across.

I will agree it's a "soft" flavor....been using it all day.....feels sort of like comfort food....

This is a great flavor. I use it all day as a stand alone or added to other flavors even the new clove. I asked Geoff to add a bit more caramel to the DDL and the result is fantastic.
Another bulls eye for TV and Geoff.

Having perused most all of the threads in this subforum, I couldn't be more grateful for the advice and notes on aging.

I'm only on day 3, and each day the flavors have 'bloomed' a little more. It's like getting a new treat every day I sample one again!

I'm going to have to try a caramel flavor soon. I don't think I'd much care for the
Caramel Popcorn or Caramel Apple (though both are snack treats I enjoy from time to time), but the Dulce De Leche sounds yummy if it's like a Caramel Sundae!

All I know is that when I first tried the German chocolate cake, I really disliked it (along with the tastyfinger). I do not know if it was the aging process or a changing of my taste preferences, but now I like the tastyfinger and the GCC is my absolute favorite juice flavor.

look at it this way....you buy Chinese juice it was probably mixed six months ago and has had plenty of time to blend.....the juice I got on Wednesday I ordered on Friday so it was mixed probably a week ago today......
