Well after 3 months of no analogs I slipped up. I got caught in a torrential down pour on my motorcycle and pulled into a gasso to wait under the canopy. I got the itch and bought a pack of smokes. While waiting I smoked three of the nasties, felt like crap and gave the rest away. Why do I do this to myself? My mouth tasted like tar all night! Sometimes I think that little voice in my head is a real :censored:

I still have 2 packs leftover from April, did not throw them away.

JustaGuy, you probably want to put the two packs in a plastic freezer bag then put the bag in the refrigerator. Otherwise they're going to get mighty stale and crinkly. Trust me, I know. ;)

When I ride my motorcycle I always have a 510 with me and sometimes an ego as well. I leave the Reo Grand at home cause it's a little large and doesn't look much like a cig for being out in public. My white 510 doesn't even raise an eyebrow out among the masses.
After 7 months of analog free I just yesterday threw out my last smokes. I didn't even light one and they smelled nasty. Also, I was in an elevator yesterday at work and two guys had just come in from a smoke break. They wreaked to high heaven. I can't believe I ever had that nasty habit now.
You'll get there! Just vape more...

I appreciate everyone's support. I won't dwell on it, just don't understand it. I quit for 3 years before and got cocky one day on the golf course and borrowed one. A year later I found E-cigs and until yesterday did not have a thought of smoking. Just good to know it is still lurking waiting to pounce. Next time I will tell the little voice to get stuffed :D In any case it is great to know that they tasted so bad and I didn't even think about keeping them around.

I definitely would not dwell on it. Now you will remember that nasty taste and not go back. :)

I quit smoking a long time ago for 4 years. Cold turkey. One night I was at a bar with some co workers and bummed a smoke from them. That was it. The next night I was back to smoking again. A decade later I found vaping and managed to quit again.

The difference from before and now is that if we slip up it is generally not a life changer. Before vaping if you made a mistake most probably you were a smoker again. Now all you have to do is chalk it up as a mistake, pick up your PV and move on.

Keep on vaping.
