I've been gaping for about 7 months now and none of the chargers I either buy or that come with batteries are at all durable. I have ego-type batteries, and the chargers are USB connections on one end with the twist-in charger thingy with the light on the other. The wires break or SOMETHING and they stop working.

Are there any of these that work for more than a month or so before they break?

(I did search and couldn't find anything specifically addressing this problem. Maybe I used bad search terms.)

Thanks for any help!

Some of them have just died. Others still show the green light on the charger part, but it doesn't turn red to indicate that it's charging the battery. It just stays green when I twist in the battery. I have 2 of them with batteries twisted in, plugged into my laptop at the moment. Both batteries are dead, but neither charger is showing a red light to indicate they're charging. And they aren't getting charged. I can do this for 10 hrs and the batteries are still dead.

Well....
There are 2 things I like to point out.

1. EGO chargers are a cheap and I would suggest you order a few. Try ebay shipped from states so you get them quick.
I get some spares from fasttech. Get the one with longer wire. fasttech.com/category/0/search/MTc3PUUtQ2lnXkNoYXJnZXJz/?ego%20charger

2. Never charge from PC/Laptop. If any of the charger decides to short out the usb circuit, you are out your computer instead of cheap USB wall charger (which will cost you less than the cost of Cheese burger and soda.) I recommend this fasttech.com/products/0/10002574/1191200-4-ports-usb-ac-wall-charger-adapter
Which you can use to charge your celphone, tab, ecig etc etc....

My spare EGO chargers are much better Quality than the one that came with my kit which die an early death with bad circuit.

Sorry your ecig charger crapped out on you.
Cheers

2. Never charge from PC/Laptop.

I can't find the thread but someone with much more knowledge of computers and hardware than I explained that there is absolutely nothing wrong with charging from a USB port on your computer.

I do agree that it's a good idea to pick up a few extra eGo chargers. They can be had for about $3 at Fasttech dot com with free shipping. May take a few weeks to get but very handy to have around.
