((CES!!))

I'm doing good now (and I lost 250lbs of useless (soon to be ex) fat!). I let myself have a lot of self pity for many months but it's time to move on. There's always some excuse not to do what's best for one's self. Time for that to end!

You go girl!!!!!!!! Nice to meet you Kat!, and welcome back! :))))

Hi Kat. I can see how falling off the wagon could have happened following this high-stress, unfortunate time in your life. I'm sorry to hear of your split. It's never easy. I did the same thing when I broke off my engagement a few years back. I hope you find strength and peace in forgiving, loving yourself and in continuing forward one day at a time. Welcome back, dearheart.

Thanks all. Nah I have no contact with him at all. I have let go of a lot of anger. For the parts I'm still upset about, well, I just have to accept that stuff happens. I try to judge everyone as an individual so no man hating here (maybe a lil fear of getting hurt again but not hate).
I just realized I don't have my direct charger anymore...must've left it at his house. Still have my PT and my case charger though and amazingly all my batteries and juice are still good (it's a sign!).

My late mother used to say "everything happens for a reason"...

In my early adulthood, I stayed in an extremely abusive relationship. At much too young an young age, I was old and haggard looking. As soon as I wised up and dissolved the relationship, I began to do all the things for myself that returned my youth, energy and radiance. You know, stuff like exercising, visiting friends and getting out more, pampering myself, etc. Everyone in the village that saw me out and about remarked at how good I looked lately and asked what I had been doing. That really boosted my confidence and helped to diminish my depression.

I think daily stress and strife are sickly to the spirit and soul and therefore reflects in our physical appearance. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you seek and reach out to the fun and beauty life still has to offer. I hope your concern and sadness of this current situation is short-lived. Peace and hugz to you, dearheart!
