I hope someone can come by and give their honest assessment on the difference between our Unflavored WTA and the DVAP WTA. What I can say is that we use a very select tobacco blend for the our DVAP WTA, as well as our DIY Unflavored blend.
since you are the supplier why don' you give us an honest assesment of the differnce between DVAP WTA and unflavored WTA....the thing I'm don't understand is..when you use the DVAP does it have any nicotine in it and will it affect the outcome of your mix, and how much of this DVAP do you add to your mix...can I use a free base nic of my choice and then just add some WTA to it or does the DVAP have nic in it that has to be calculated for.

Hmmm...I’ll leave some of these queries to people who are in the know more than I. The one thing I can add is that I add 10% of WTA, whether it’s DVAP’s or another mix. I think that the different names have more to do with type of tobacco used-hence flavor which might be important for those using WTA without any flavoring. (Especially helpfulwhen those serious cravings arrive). Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong here though.

Yes WTA has nicotine in it. The advertised mg/ml is the nicotine content, the other tobacco alkaloids are in addition to. 24mg WTA contains the same amount of nicotine as 24mg freebase.

I'm curious what is more effective and satisfying for that calming effect you get from being satisfied after smoking. The nic salts from comments people have made seem to be effective at giving you an intense fast nic hit that satisfies but isn't that still just nicotine in a high dose? The whole tobacco alkaloids seem to give the best of both worlds a nic hit and the more relaxing feeling from the additonal alkaloids. This introduction of nic salts seem very confusing as to what would make it effective since cigarettes contain so much more than nicotine that works on the brain and body. I would love to hear others experience with the nic salts and especially how it compares to wta.

I would add that i'm currently vaping the 24mg unflavored wta from aroma and just ordered the dvap special blend 24mg wta. The unflavored is a really nice vape just by itself.

I am thinking you are mixing apples with oranges here. These products are 2 totally different components that have totally different effects. I don't think you can compare the 2. If you are asking if they can be combined together for a more complete simulation of smoking cigs. Probably. But if you find satisfaction
in one or the other why bother. The goal is to curb the cig cravings, not to reinvent the cigarette.
just my 2 pennies.

I use both. I am not looking for more nic that is smoother I use it at the same percentages as regular nic (18%) and while it may hit me slightly sooner, I don't really notice a huge difference. But, I was purchasing it for its LACK of throat hit (my throat was wrecked by the time I showed up here) and I am not AFTER one.

Compared to WTA, it's night and day. The WTA alkaloids do add some of that calming/anti-anxiety and anti-depressant effects that I don't feel you can get from any type of nicotine. The difference can be subtle depending on what amount you use, but to me it definitely helped me transition from smoking to vaping. I still keep a tank around for stressful situations or if I'm having cigarette cravings. WTA worked really well for me. It's entirely different from nic salts (although some folks, like myself, used both).

I do think higher nicotine does help especially in the beginning, and nic salts are helpful for folks that can't get their nicotine content high enough without harshness. This is one reason the Juul is so popular among cigalikes, it has a propriety Nic salt formulation (not sure exactly what's in it) but it means that pods can go as high as 50 mg/ml (with that said, you are going to get less vapor per puff due to it being a cigalike) which is satisfying to many smokers starting out who NEED high nicotine.

So, they both serve a slightly different purpose but IMO if freebase nicotine is doing the trick at whatever percentage you are at, WTA is going to deliver something a bit different than "faster and maybe higher onset" of action.

Thanks for the replies, i guess my real concern is that vaping wta i've gotten my cigarette usage down to about 3 cigs a day mostly after meals which are the toughest ones for me to stop. The wta has helped me keep myself alert and more focused during the day and not thinking about smoking while im working which is great but i'd love to cut out those last few cigs completely. I was thinking maybe something like the juul might do the trick and would be pretty inexpensive if im only hitting it about 3 times a day when i really feel the need for a cig after eating. Just not sure if a more powerful nic hit would be the answer to that since cigs have so many more chemicals in them that i'm sure i'm feeling the addiction of more than just nic.

If you feel like you need something a little stronger for after meals then you might consider getting some 36mg wta and just drip a little bit on an rda after a meal.

I have been meaning to try the nic salts but haven't yet. I'm wondering if the nic uptake is faster with those as compared to regular nic liquid.

I think the Juul is worth the shot. Whatever it takes to curb those cravings is what you should do. Down to 3 cigs a day is a fantastic job. And if you only need that little extra, go for it. Let us know how it goes and if the extra nic has helped.

I would say yes and where is why. I am trying nic salts from Nicotine River for the first time. Since they have said you could increase the strength in the nic because it is more efficient in delivery that the adjustment to a higher mg would be seamless because of the smoothness. ummmm, not entirely so. I ordered one litre @6mg(my current nic level is 3mg). While the vape was very smooth, the nic hit me like a ton of rocks. Like the feeling you got when you smoked that first cig.(that buzzed type of feeling where you feel like your head is coming off) Ok I figured, the first time no problem. Well it wasn't only on the first time. It was every toke I took. I had purposely bought just the 6mg for testing. I tried this for 3 days on one tank. I could not take the feeling anymore so I cut the 6mg back to my reg 3mg. Much better. Since I have only tried the nic salts in one recipe I am making small batches of my other mixes to see how it compares to my reg mixes that used only the reg free-based nic. Results to be determined.

I think that may be a place where the Juul could be helpful, although it's certainly possible to buy nic salts premade or DIY at whatever higher percentage you need but the Juul might be more hassle free, for your purposes.

What helped me after meals was chainvaping and WTA, but I really chainvaped quite a bit. I missed that cigarette.

I don't find nic salts "hitting me like a ton of bricks" but that wasn't really what I was after, just smoother vape. With that said, I only vape at 18 mg/ml and that was the strength I was using with regular freebase nic. I'm fairly sure I could raise it as high as the Juul and get a buzzy feeling, but that is also not really what I'm after.

Are you sub ohming that 3mg from nicotine river or dripping? I currently have a sub ohm tank that i use, still need to learn about dripping and an easy setup. I was thinking that maybe instead of the juul i could just get some from nicotine river in a 3mg or 6mg that i could use in my sub ohm tank and mix with some flavor and try that out.

Believe me I am only after the smooth in the vape.... hoping to take some of the bite out of a mix or two......maybe I would have wanted that 'buzzed' feeling 30 years ago......now? not so much...lol

Not dripping. I am way to messy for that. LOL
I am kind of a mix with my vaping style in that I like the lower ohms in a coil but not necessarily the higher watts. I am using a .56ohm coil at around 10-15 watts. Depends on the ejuice. Each ejuice has their own 'sweet spot' and that is what I am after.

And yes, you can buy premade coils for rta's. I use a subtank mini tank with its RBA and also buy their premade coils for it. Much easier for me.

Just remember that I am only writing as to my experience. Lots of different variables may be involved so your results could be way different than mine. YMMV

understood but worth a shot especially at those prices. Spent less than $20 for 60ml of 6mg salts and 2 flavors i wanted to try. Very good deal.
