e-cig 510 vapor not coming out as much.

So I purchased this e-cig 510 starter kit and when I received it. I was overjoyed. It came with 1 battery and 1 atomizer and 10 pre-filled cartridges. When I opened those parts, I noticed the atomizer had this tight fur or string inside the hole (when you stick the cartridges in). I thought it was just protection thing to get germs or something when they ship.
Anyway, i pulled that out and I began smoking. I noticed the liquid ran out really quickly and sometimes I have to wait couple of seconds before i can smoke again. If I continously smoke, ecig gets pretty hot and I hear sizzling noise. After few puffs, vapor barely comes out.
Did I screw up by pulling that fur/string thing inside the atomizer hole or is it somewhat normal?

I'm having a hard time imagining what you are seeing. Pictures?

Anyway sounds like you may have pulled out some of the wick which delivers the juice to the coil.

Do you see the small hole on top? ? that's where you stick your cartridge in. When I first got it, there was a tight string/fur looking thing that was inside the hole. Im not sure if that screwed up the thing or not.

Yes, that was the wick you pulled out.

lol ..... so i screwed up then. Is that why liquid is coming out soo fast and its not vaporizing a lot?

IS there a way to add alternative instead of that wick? Or is the atomizer totally gone ?
