As many people have said... mods are just battery tubes... The magic is in the atomizer... the Liquid and as I have learned recently, the Drip tip.
Yes, the drip tip can deliver a different experience - The new Cannon Drip tips for the LR 306 atties makes a 306 vape like a super LR 801! I love it.
So - I think the mod you choose should suit your needs and/or style.
I wanted something that would fit discretely in my hand... Something durable and with great battery life.
I have a Bartleby and I love it - but, I wanted another mod that was more durable... I'll still vape my Bartleby like there's no tomorrow, but I wanted one that was a bit more heavy duty.
I settled on Puresmoker's ICON.
I have a friend or two that had the protege? whatever the icon replaced... and they loved it.
It's very well made. Sleek, tiny and fits one 14500 batt (900MAH)
Button on the bottom, locks, very comfortable and easy to use.
I have used it two days, so I can't comment on how it needs to be serviced... but in the site they sell washers and screws etc... so I imagine they need some care at some point.
Here's the feng shui...
A Cisco 306 LR attie with a cannon drip tip.
It's a great set up. Durable, reliable and discreet.
Creates plumes of vapor - tons of flavor and battery life is ridiculously good.
Anyway, just thought I'd share...
The Icon costs about $82 for the base kit.
Takes one 14500 batt.
Here's a pic of the set up...
I have medium sized hands...
