Citing e-juices named after such 1950s stalwarts as "Tutti Frutti" and "Cotton Candy", Diane DeGette (D-Colorado) would like e-juice companies to stop marketing to Eisenhower era high school students.

SSDD The Formula:
-find a legislator who neither knows nor cares anything about vaping
-wave a bunch of carefully edited studies under their nose that connects vaping to something they DO care about
-probably wave some dollar bills or promises of later dollar bills as well. That one is also common.

The solution:
Make sure the legislator in question DOES get the real scoop about what studies were used, who’s money is being used, and where it came from. These are often facts that are harder to come by and very rarely offered by the anti-vaping contingent.
Legislators as a general rule hate being lied to though they are generally at least somewhat used to it.
