Just bought the V3.1 last weekend and the battery life and performance are amazing. I would just go with the best one from the get go rather than spending more on upgrading ... (Wish I did:) the other thing that attracted me to the prodigy was that later on I can go to 6volt vaping without spending on yet another mod so IMO go with the v3.I love it..good luck ps my husband has the ego and it doesn't compare!

Mate - liberty flights UK site i.e libertyflights.co.uk have the 0% e liquid I recently ordered some myself to mix with some 36mg - I can highly recommend them for service as well - very reliable and professional - I've never had an ego so can't comment on them other than to say they seem very poular so there must be a good reason - I can say that the Riva SE is a serious contender and really worth bearing in mind. If I had to buy another one it would be another Riva as it exceeded my expectations by far but again without trying the rest on the market its hard to compare.

Good luck

I respectfully disagree with going with the ego over the prodigy. I don't have a prodigy but wish I did. I guess it depends on how long he will use it. If it is just for a short time with an eye on quitting then, yes get the ego. If you plan on using for a long time then the prodigy is a high quality devise with good resale value should you decide to quit. Replacable batteries cheaper than ego batts. makes the prodigy a better buy in the long run. Me, I think I will wait for the new model Infinty or Buzz in June.

I thought of another good option for you. The E Power e cig similar in size and shape to the Ego ( cigar size). They are about $45 American. The advantage to these is they have a 1000mah 14650 replacable battery for $7 versus $25 to replace Ego/Riva batts. They are available at hoosierecigsupply.com or gotvapes.com that I know of.There are a couple of YouTube reviews if you would like to see them.

I already overwhelmed Edy on the other thread with suggesting DIY - sorry Edy! Everyone just wants to be helpful.
