Just wondering why there is such a variation in 901 prices, most websites seem to be £29.99 plus for a starter kit where as on ebay they start at £17.99 +, Do some suppliers sell from their own websites and ebay? or are they completely different sellers? I just haven't seen any businesses selling on Ebay that have a link to their own website or anything, which i believe you can have if you have a ME page. Normally when you see things for sale on Ebay and the seller also has their own website it is cheaper to buy direct from the webby because of all the ebay fees involved, but with E cigs they seem to be more expensive to buy from websites, I just wondered why:(

not sure which sellers are offering them at £18. perhaps they are hong kong sellers and they make the difference up in shipping costs which they then tack on. most of the british sellers i go through offer comparative prices whether on ebay or on their own site. but i think it is better to go through their site because ebay acts like a bit of a gorilla in the middle.

could be one them clearing out all his ebay stock. i know one of them has decided to take his goods off ebay cause he does not like the atmosphere there. what was the name of the seller ?

That was pillbox38. he of The Electronic Cigarette Company and Totally Wicked E Liquid.

I grabbed two of the mini starter kits from his clearout.

Karen...yes you can get 901s cheaper from some sellers on ebay, even taking postage into account...but not all seem to have the 30 day guarantee on parts...

and some sellers have sold on ebay cheaper than their site because on their site youre paying to have their branding plastered on the exact same ecigs and packaging...which i personally hate the sight of,and certainly dont want to pay extra for...but to each their own...

thanks quaffer of ales but i was wondering from karen what the name of the seller she was referring to and whether it was PB. what's your favourite tipple by the way?

Timothy Taylor Landlord. That's a gorgeous beer. I think my local pub is looking at getting that in to go with the London Pride. Hope they do.

If you new to e-smoking always buy from someone or some site recommended by numerous people on this forum. There are 2 people I know of on ebay selling a dse901 for very cheap less than US$30 incl shipping worldwide from China. I bought one and it is nothing like my 901 from Simon in the UK it's not the original 901 that Heaven's gift sells nor is it the hotter burning ones sold in the US and UK. It has no serial number on the battery and it performs like a 3 or more week old RN DSE901 the battery life is about a hour and the smoke is very little. Just enough smoke not to throw it away and try and get your money out of it. I got mine from Pingonlines and when i asked can I have some batteries that actually work under his garantee his reply was I can send it back for a refund minus a US$10 handling fee. In my opinion that's scamming in 2 directions, rubbish product but if you don't like it pay me to take it back.

No it wasn't PB, I wasn't sure if i was allowed to post the id's:confused: the £17.99 seller is mc_elt I haven't bought from them but was thinking about it lol, the seller I have bought from who is cheaper than most of the websites i've seen is llfco but i have got a problem with a couple of batteries from there and I'm waiting to hear back, if you pay more because of a guarantee on parts fair enough it's my own fault for being a cheapskate lol, the other seller i'd seen was maves_cave some of their listings have the TW logo on, is it the same seller as the TW website?

well maves_cave looks like a pretty good deal to me...excellent feedback,theres a full kit-2 batteries,10 carts,atomiser and charger for £28 including postage...

ok,maybe there isnt a 30 day guarantee,i dunno...but its £12 cheaper than some branded stuff for exactly the same ecig...

as ever, you pays your money and makes your choice...

karen.. ebay is full of sellers making no money... its too easy to sell e cigs.. the world and his dog are doing it... the world and his dog are also screwing each other into the ground.. as one goes another one comes..

UK sellers have their own websites to get away from the sell for no profit ebay sellers.. price competion is simply too fierce for reputable sellers to be honest and make money..

who can sell the cheapest rules the day on ebay.. honest sellers cant sell the cheapest.. its vicious circle..

Trog I know where your coming from with ebay, my aim is to have an SD but with christmas coming up and 4 kids to buy for it I will have to wait, that said by the time i've done I would probably have been better off buying one in the first place lol
