I don't think semantics are going to make or break a discussion. This very forum has a section named general e-smoking discussion. Just saying.
And I hate to say, it plays right into their argument. Taken "out of context", the vape Team vids really hurt us as a group...

I applaude CSPAN for following up the Democratic Idiot Parade with almost 10 min of VPLive vape Team video and a decent run of positive perspectives from REAL people.
I can respect M Zeller's response on the FDA's stance on how the FDA views e-cigs at this time. "They have the potential to do good, and they have potential to do harm."

I might take exception to that. The videos show adults at a convention. They don't show 12 year-old, middle school kids sneaking e-cigs.
I truly believe by the questions alone posed by the Republicans they are more informed and have done some research. They ask questions that are germane to both sides of the topic. They don't attack, they look for answers.

LOL.... I love cotton candy and gummie bears, in there real form. And in my PT2, and I've lost 13 lbs because I stopped the real thing.

That's great! I'm trying to lose weight as well and I've certainly noticed that the delicious flavors combined with the nicotine quell my urge to stuff my face with candy quite a lot.

How dramatic and uninformed. It had a child safety cap on it and unless she drank the contents there was nothing harmful that can happen by touching the bottles. It was all theater.
Who have they been talking to obtain this information. Most adults I know walk into my office to take gummy bears out of my candy dish all the time, sometimes to often since they never put any back.

Really, that didn't happen in my house. We always made the openings the next morning. I sat through more movies that I never wanted to see just to give my kids the guidance they deserved to become responsible adults.
Are kidding me, at 54 years old I love youtube. Education and comedy are at the reach of your fingers.
Isn't it the parents responsibility to ensure that their children are exposed to the right type of media as they grow up? I know it was in our house. Both my wife and myself are active on several social media sites and I own one. The content on mine is family safe, that's my responsibility.
Because they really don't understand the marketplace or the people that use the product. The government invited lambs that don't understand the topic.

Tonight really showed how much the FDA and Legislature knows about what's really going on. From saying all these Flavors are directed for children is absurd. I only vape Fruit Flavors and Candy Flavors. If I wanted to vape tobacco flavors I might as well just continue smoking tradition Cancer Sticks. The way Rockefeller spoke to the two men was unprofessional and to point a finger at them and say they are the reason why America is the way it is,is just plain disturbing.
I've seen and heard so money success stories from my family,friends and co workers that e-cigarettes have changed there life and are in fact healthier then ever. The FDA doesn't need to regulate something that is already being done by individual states. We already have child proof caps. We already have content descriptions of what ingredients are in our liquids. They need to focus on the big tobacco companies and how to regulate the 181 billion dollars a year profit they make to kill our loved ones.
