Did you make a hybrid atty purchase as well?

I've got two bottom-feeder versions coming. And I'll likely order a HH .357 to try too when the release a bottom-feeder version. Although that guy Russ is really rubbing me the wrong way and might end up dissuading me w/ his antics. Actually, yes, yes he did. So I won't be trying a HH. -Magnus

I got the dripper's version of the hybrid today at 2 ohm. Trying it out now.

I was never a big fan of the 306 mostly because it was so easy to flood and because I didn't care for debridging/dewicking.

None of the pics from the web cam came out well, but that's me. I know, I know I'll put the cute puppies back soon and stop scaring the children. (Just ignore the disaster in thee background, I'm losing my workshop so everything is in a disaster state as I'm trying to pack up / move stuff).

While we're talking video games, anyone try Duke Nukem Forever yet? Enjoyed the original years ago, and had pretty much given up on this one happening. I know the reviews haven't been great, but I'm sure I'll try it once it's on sale somewhere.

Morning all! (Or evening to most of you, I suppose.)

Vaped in the Cardiologist's consulting room yesterday, with his permission, of course!
He had vaguely heard of the e-cig, but that was all. He knew virtually nothing about them.

He knows a lot more now! :)

I did the demo using an Ego-T with a type B tank and long battery. His first question, after I showed him the basics was "can you "dial down" the nicotine levels?" He was very pleased when I told him you could, by using lower strength liquids. (Would a VV mod at lower voltage deliver less nicotine from the same liquid than at a higher voltage, do you think? It feels like it's lower, but is it?)

As is probably the case with any Cardio, he said he has many patients who desperately need to quit but can't/won't and he thinks that e-cigs could well be useful for them. (We all know that, of course, but he didn't.) He's currently advocating Chantix, but while the results (he says) are better than any other quit methodology he has recommended he's still seeing more failures than successes.

He's going to do some research himself to learn more, and I'm sending him some links I found useful. He's a Professor at the Local Medical School, so he'd be a good person to get on our side. Darn nice chap too. Laughed like a drain at the clouds of vapour! :)

Cheers
ETA: I was visiting the Cardio with my Mother-in-law, not for myself. She has limited English (she's Hungarian) and is a bit dotty so I tend to accompany her on dr's visits and so on.)

Had I known Bruce McGill was on the thread I'd have used more Animal House.

Good on you Hobo! Progress Down Under will leak sideways into Canada quickly... that's goodness for the both of you. -Magnus

I really do feel that it's important to get the word out wherever possible, e-cigs have a profile here that's lower than a snake's belly since they aren't openly sold in stores. I've now spoken to two doctors who knew virtually nothing about them and both saw potential in them. I'm finding that doctors do seem to understand and care about harm reduction and that's really all I'm hoping for.

Cheers

Wow, hobotivo. You're like a one man wrecking ball. No wonder you got banned from the Q! You are a real threat to can't/won't quit opposition and NRTs with a historically low success rate. Way to go!

Thanks Sallie, that was most kind. My wife thinks I'm a wrecking ball too, but mainly because I don't pay attention to my surroundings and bash into things a lot.

Ooh, the Provari's flashing at me me, time to whack in a new battery! I do like that feature, much better than just suddenly cutting out!

Busy day today, I've got to get the car checked for "roadworthiness" so I can register it in in my new home state. I hope it passes okay, I've only got 3 days till the old registration runs out. Not much time if I have to do any repairs. Why do I always put these things off until the last minute?

Cheers
