E-Cigarettes and mountaineering

I was watching a documentary on Mt. Everest, and am aware of several climbers who are chain (analog) smokers. And I got to thinking.

Is anyone aware of an e-cigarette that has made it to the summit of mount everest?

Baltic united on Gasherbrum II, sort of This is the first time since the 80's that climbers from the three Baltic republics were to forget their differences and get together for a mountaineering expedition. But Latvia didn't show, and Estonia missed their connecting flight in London, spending a few days chilling in pubs. Led by Everest summiteer Saulius Vilius, (Lithuania), the members - now down to five - next had a stop over in Skardu to get supplies, including piles of cigarettes (Alar Sikk, the first and only Estonian Everest summiteer is a devoted chain-smoker) and garlic.

Maybe someone can send him an e-cigarette, and do the product some good?

I have read that analogue smokers are better at higher altitude as their bodies are used to less oxygen due to smoke. I was told this by a climber friend, not sure if its true but makes sense.
