Making real news now. See, everyone is comparing it to other stop aid ie nicorette. Only a few bad apples are seen marketing the PV as as stop aid device. Many here don't want to quit smoking including myself. To me this is clearly an alternative to tobacco. A cleaner way to smoke. Nothing else. Want more testing, Fine, I'm all for it. The ingredients in the e-cig are known and approved by the FDA. Don't pull the e-cig from the market untill further tests are done. I agree, Long tern effects are unknown. I'll be a guinea pig... It's my choice.

sorry writing this under wifes name

i think what needs to be done is remove the comparison of this product against other products and make it stand on its own this seems to be the play the unbiased media seems to be playing (i tickle me ) putting it against the smoking cessation aids, and of course the mention of various unhealthy factors involved with e-smoking what was funny is both of these people had an opinion had information of the bad effects of using the e-cigs and what was their last comment we are waiting on data did that just negate what they said in the interview

we are not considered intelligent until the news corporations give both sides of a story and WE are able to decide on our own. just the facts Lester just the Facts

Hi,

I am new to the e-cig, and I am enjoying the vapor very much, I have tried every new thing to come down the tracks in the last 10 years to quit smoking, (well except for acupuncture 8-o and hypnotism:confused: ). I recently announced to all those who love me and worry about me that I quit "quitting". It just adds more stress on top of what I already have.

Then a couple of weeks ago i found the E-Cig, and now I have hope o have a way to enjoy the smoking I love without the bad stuff and without the guilt. Maybe not a perfect solution but definitely better than what I was doing. I hope that the FDA and the Dr's would take that into consideration when they are reviewing these products.

Hi Sherry and welcome to the forum

as for Lester i was not knocking him on how he handled the interview i am just to the point i am tired of being told by the bleeding media HOW I SHOULD THINK,, you know research the complete story and then do a story on it with all the facts being presented in a unbiased manner , i am sure that it gained momentum being on a national television news show but i think we as a group were not properly represented,

hey thanks for posting Riddle neighbor about an hour south of you , i did not care much for the interview this morning like i said it was one sided but then today that seems to be how we get our news i am sure the rest of the forum will appreciate that Legacy Foundation stance at least that is one group we know where they are coming from,

Did you read the Legacy article? Very negative ... calling for removal from the market until they proven safe. Same stance as our beloved Sen. Lautenberg.
Yes, it's the misinformed media prepping the way for the e-cig to be BANNED deemed it to be unsafe. We have no rights anymore. It's just a matter of time now folks.
