I must be over thinking this and feel a little silly asking but here goes.... **I asked this in my intro thread but it will get lost in the shuffle**

I have a bottle of 18mg nude liquid I also have a few different flavors of 12mg liquid

A) If I'm mixing them 1/2 and 1/2, is this affecting the flavor very much?

B) By mixing 1/2 and 1/2, am I giving myself roughly 15mg/ml as I originally thought or am I throwing my nicotine levels up through the roof, as I was told by the local supplier?

Thank you so much in advance I'm sure I'll back off with the silly questions in time ;-)

A) Mixing flavors is common and will change with what ever flavors you are combining. I like to add menthol to some of my flavors to give it a hint of mint

B) If you mix exact amounts of 12mg and 18mg juices together you are correct in making the new juice combination 15mg. There is no way to create more nicotine levels then what is in those juices to begin with. Your local supplier appears to want you to just buy new juice instead of mixing what you currently have.

That's a good question, and there's only one way to find out :) Seriously though, I diluted vendor juice for a bit. It was never scientific, I just did it to prolong the juice. I probably diluted it by around 50% like you're considering, and it worked out fine. I could see it being unpleasant for some juices (like watered down juice, blech), and I can say from experience that it doesn't have to have a huge effect.

Whoever told you the nic level will skyrocket is ... up in the clouds to begin with, let's say. If you mix the two there's no way for the concentration to exceed 18mg, which isn't even that strong, in my opinion. But yeah, a 50/50 mix should be the 15mg, like you said.

No silly questions, just silly things people will say about juice dilution, apparently :p

Whew! Thank you! *I* personally figured it would be in the 15mg ish, give or take (obviously I'm not exact on my 50/50 mix) range but the lady at the shop told me I was wrong so she had me doubting myself lol I didn't know if there was maybe more to it that I wasn't understanding I'm glad I was correct

I found that 12mg didn't seem to satisfy me but a constant 18mg felt like too much, despite being a pack a day smoker Weird though that right in the middle seems to be my current sweet spot? Surely there isn't that much difference? Maybe I'll try straight 12mg again and see if I'm still not satisfied

Ya, 15mg is what you'll end up with. Mixing equal parts of the 18mg and 12mg, if the 'nude juice' has the same PG/VG ratio as the 12mg juice that is. If it is straight nicotine then the end result nic level might be higher, but I'm not sure.

This online juice calculator - E-Liquid Recipe Name will help you probably. There are several other versions of calc's on that site. I had a similar question last week or so and got some very helpful replies. There are tons of other online calc's too, Here is one - eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator - eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator that is a program that you can install on your PC.

That is the online calc you suggested to me. I have found it to be useful and interesting. I'm sure you will also, MomIsTheBoss.
