I filled up four clearomizers with different flavors to bring over to my sister's place for Thanksgiving -- I was obviously going to be there all day so I wanted a few flavors to choose from.

I filled one of my iClear 16's with Deep Thought by The Vapor Chef (excellent stuff by the way) and screwed it onto my iTaste VV 3.0. I triple-checked that every clearomizer was securely tightened because I did not want a repeat of the time that almost 2 mL of juice leaked out into my pocket because the bottom cap was loose.

About 2 hours later I pulled out the VV and was surprised to find that clearomizer nearly empty. At first I thought to myself "Great, the cap was loose and now there's over 1 mL of juice sitting in my pocket."

But when I reached into my pocket it was completely dry, and both the bottom cap and the drip tip were very secure. Then I thought that I somehow managed to accidentally burn through all that juice while it was still in my pocket. But that seems unlikely, because (1) the iClear 16 gets quite warm when chain vaping, and iTaste VV 3.0 itself also gets a bit warm, so I would have felt this, (2) I nor anyone else noticed a trail of vapor streaming from my pocket, and (3) the iTaste VV 3.0 has a 10-second cutoff, so the button would have had to been pushed and released many dozens of times to go through over 1 mL of juice.

Yes, I am 100% absolutely certain that it was full -- I specifically remember looking at my two iClear 16's and wondering if I should label or mark one of them, because the color of the two flavors I put in them were almost identical.

So what the heck happened?  :?:

When I had a loud device on my battery, I was driving and kept hearing a cracklings sound from my pocket.... But it was not constant... A crackle for less than a second at a time...
My juice was full when the thing went in my pocket... Half full when I took it out.
It was not warm or anything.
Best I could figure out was that the button was just barely firing.

did the wicks suck it up??????

I know the first time I fill a clearo, the wicks tend to suck up the liquid and it looks much lower to me,,,,,,,

try filling it again and see if the same thing happens or if it stays full this time,,,,,,,,,

It was the third time I filled the tank, the wicks were already saturated.

I had a similar experience and have a few question (and explanation of why I'm asking.) Even though it looked empty, did you try to vape it? Could you? Did it gurgle when you tried? I filled 6 clearos for a long trip. Two of them did what you describe. I don't know how the iClear 16 is designed or how much juice it holds but mine were Joye CCs which don't have air tubes but air chambers running beside the juice container. They had never leaked and are designed not to but appeared to be empty just sitting in my purse in a carry case with no batteries attach and not vaped. I tried vaping them anyway to test and got no draw but a gurgle. They had never previously gurgled either which was a clue. Well, though it appeared the juice had disappeared as if by magic, it was there. Somehow, evidently in this case due to altitude changes and the gasket being popped, it had migrated into those two air chambers. Why just those two out of six? The gasket must have been less well seated than the others making it susceptible to popping from pressure. So, again, I don't know how the iClear is built but suspect your juice migrated like mine did. If it has an air tube instead, most likely into it. Only explanation I can think of other than just getting filled and empties mixed up before leaving.
