As the title says.

Is this common? It was a cinnamon flavor e-juice. At least I believe it to be the juice that did it. At first I didnt know what caused this, and figured it was no big deal. But it has sense done this to two of my clero's and 1 of my tank tubes. When I clean then, it appears to be clean, but then Ill drop it into a cup of water for over night soaking. In the morning, it will be glazed over with a white film. I can't really effectively clean the inside of the clearo (stardust) because I can get down in there with anything to srub it off. I was able to clean the tank tube fine, but it left a cloudy apperance even after I cleaned it.

So has this every happened to anyone? Are the clearos pretty much toast now? Im not sure if I want to fill them up and try to vape from it just to waste juice.

This glaze/film also effected the plastic screw on tip on them as well. I can scatch it off with my finger from the tip, but its sorta hard to get off.

Just looking for some incite!

Thanks!

Howdy. Sadly, that's not residue. That's your plastic melting. You definitely shouldn't continue to use that particular juice with your stardusts. Cinnamon flavors as well as other highly acidic flavors such as strong lemon, other citrus, and heavy menthol flavors are known to damage the plastic of tanks and clearomizers.

Do you know if you're using the newer stardusts with the better quality plastic?

I am currently using ones I picked up at vapage.com

they had deal on them 2 for 2 bucks. I bought 10. They work great execpt the 2 I used with that Fire and Ice juice. They are usually sold for 13 bucks for the 2 pack, but snag that deal. Not sure what versions they are though.

They looked fine even after they were empty. I rinsed them out, and they still looked fine. Dropped then to soak over night only to return to them glazed over in the morning. What makes me wonder is why would it effect the screw on tip as well? Just the base of course that presses agaisnt the silicon gaurd piece inside.

But if you say plastic I believe ya :) I just find it odd because the juice was in a brand new one no longer than 3-4 hours. I suppose thats enough time to cause this? No other juices I have used with my others have caused this at all.

Also, the tank I was using was the Vivi Nova v2. I was using the tube that came with it. I have 3 of them. My other 2 I am using aluminum tubes now though.

Thanks for the info! :) Still blows my mind that they could go bad like that with just 3-4 hours of use. Make me scared to vape cinnamon now hahahha
