Quick question in my search for were to but VG came across a thread that went into the fact of you should not get the liquid on your skin.

When i am refilling carts and modding carts i get this stuff all over my fingers should i be worried :( I am sure it has to pretty common thing

nicotine moves into the body very quickly from skin contact, but if you're only using regular strength liquids from 0-36mg content, it's not usually a big deal if you get some on your fingers and hands. worst case scenario-you'll start to feel a little dizzy or lightheaded from nicotine overdose.

if you're getting it all over your hands, like soaked, then yea that's a problem, but i doubt that's the case.

if you're handling anything 40mg and above it's a good idea to wear latex gloves. i've gotten 100mg juice on my hands and did feel a little queezy.

make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after handling liquids.

be safe.

Think it's the nicotine itself that they are referring to. Unless you're doing DIY with a high nic strength (over 36%), I wouldn't be concerned. Most of us are dealing with nic mixed in with PG/VG rendering it pretty harmless unless you get drenched in it since we're already used to having nic in our systems. Just wipe off and wash your hands when you can. Use common sense... keep where children can't get into it, etc... and you'll be fine.

What TWolf said :)

Also I get it on myself (the pre-made juice NOT the DIY 100% nic, I dont use that) all the time.
I've got it in my eye (ow!) but no damage
Ive got it in a cut
Drank it (mistake lol and it wasnt much but again, no ill effects)
I lick the ends of my carts and fingers all the time (reflex habit lol)

I'm still here and havent been affected by any contact with pre-filled juice nicotine. really its in such small amounts you shouldn't worry - jsut keep it out of the reach of kids and pets, the same way you would with alcohol, coffee or cleaning products as it might make them sick.

i agree as well ive have a little spillage of 24mg all over my hands and the table without ill effects while pouring it from a large bottle to a smaller one and 24mg usually gives me one hell of a rush when i vape it so i stick to the lower strength liquids and even with this sensitivity to higher mgs i didnt feel anything to speak of but it got washed off soon after

We are all different, some of us more sensitive than others. I personally got ill after spending an hour and a half refilling carts and getting the e-juice on my fingers for an extended period of time. Someone else on the forum spilled a bottle on their hand and spent two hours puking afterwards. It wasn't high mg. stuff. Like I said, we are all different..just keep that in mind.

That was me it was about 3-5ml's of 6mg on the top of my four fingers and I got violently ill. But then again 16mg is the highest I have ever vaped, for some reason even some 8mg's give me a headrush usually menthols. So it really does depend on the person. BTW I learned my lesson I always wear gloves now or drip at an angle and always check to make sure the dropper lid is secure.:danger: I couldnt resist a smiley
