Hi new ex smoker here, I have been using a Evod starter for about three months now with tobacco blend as my flavor and would like to find more tobacco, pipe ,cigar flavors to try, what I don't quite understand is the mixture ratios they give when ordering, so I have been reluctant to do so and have stayed with the norm at my local e-cig shop any suggestions would be helpful,would love to find some great new quality juice. Thanks

My # 1 choice is juicemafia all juices are made from 50/50 PG/VG you can select nicotine level from 0 up to 24.
#2 choice is Eastcoastvape they have a big variety & you may select any mixing ratio higher PG higher throat hit less vape higher VG less throat hit but higher vape.

As mentioned the ratios are the propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine amounts in the base. 50/50 is a good mix if you're using an EVOD clearomizer. Higher VG content makes wicking a pain and gunks up the coils faster.
From what I've learned so far most juices are 50/50. I found a juice that was 80vg/20pg after a bottle of 50/50 Red Bull flavor had a mean throat hit. I couldn't even feel that 80/20 mix so I didn't really get that mental "fix" of smoking.
To keep it simple this is what I've found so far:
VG - Vegetable Glycerin = Bigger clouds, smoother hit.
PG - Propylene Glycol = Smaller clouds, stronger throat hit.
After some experimenting I've really found that a 50/50 is best for me. The hard part is that one juice supplier will hit "harder" than another. The best advice I can give is to don't be afraid to shop around and try a lot of juices. You'll soon find one that really clicks well with your taste. Right now I'm in love with VR4 Tobacco from VapreRite. Great flavor, perfect throat hit.

The nicotine level can also play a big role in throat hit. Start low and work your way up to your comfort zone.
To those, like me, that were die-hard menthol smokers, I suggest Want2Vape's Mistic Menthol. It has the exact same taste to me as my Camel Menthols. I believe it's an 80PG/20VG blend.

I've been content with 70/30 (pg/vg) and 24mg nic I get perfect throat hit and plenty of vapor. That's my local shop's standard. I have a couplebottles from ProVape but I have no idea what their ratio is, all I know is they're delicious (snickerdoodle and cherry).
Yum I just got my order from Mt Baker Vapor and it is excellent!! Rum Tobacco 50/50 pg,vg Very smooth, On to try more.....
Infernum, Did I get the mix lingo wrong? I'm new and that liquid is great!! Got to try and keep my wife away on my new finds.
