My Post #3
As i understand the rules i must post 5 times here before i can move on, so i apologize if i am asking things that belong in another area.

Just wondering, Is there a shelf life on e juice, VG, PG and Nic concentrate? Is it OK to store a clearomizer filed (or partially) for say several months or sould it be emptyed and cleaned prior to setting it on the shelf?

Generally 12-18 months is the bottled shelf life if stored at cool room temperatures in a dark place. Many quality e-juices have expiration dates or best use dates printed on the bottle label.

Once exposed to open air Glycerin USP may be stored up to 18 months at room temperature. It may be stored up to 5 years at room temperature if the USP sealed container is not opened.

Storage times of base nicotine can be greatly extended if kept at freezer temperatures in well-sealed containers.

Very helpful info
Follow up questions
1) So nicotine concentrates will not freeze in the freezer? Guessing no form you advice to do so.
2) Based on that, is it best to store all e juice (premixed, VG and PG) in the fridge/freezer just to guarantee best freshness and longest life?

My reason for asking is that i am thinking about (for best price economy) to buy in large quantity (liter bottles) the VG,PG and nic.

1) I store my Glycerin USP nicotine base in the freezer in bottles. When I want to make a batch of finished juice I take a bottle of base out, thaw it and mix it for finished juice. Glycerin USP can be stored in a freezer but it will not freeze solid at freezer temperatures. Doesn't have to freeze solid to benefit from freezer storage.

2) Mixing a juice exposes it to oxygen from the air. Diluting nicotine base exposes it air. Regardless of how I store nicotine base or finished juice it should be used up within 18 months of exposure to the air. For this reason I only make up enough finished juice to last me three months or so and never store more diluted nicotine base than I will use during a 18 month period, even if frozen.

I vape about 2ml per day. 250 ml of Glycerin USP 100mg nicotine base will last me over one year. Upon receiving my 100 mg nicotine base I immediately dilute it to one liter of 25 mg nicotine Glycerin base and freeze it in amber glass Boston round bottles for storage during the next 18 months.

I keep my nicotine base in the freezer compartment of a modern side-by-side ....../freezer. Storage space there is at a premium so I don't want to keep more than a liter's worth of bottles.

I'm very careful about buying Glycerin USP. I purchase only Glycerin USP that has lot numbers and a five-year expiration date printed on the bottle labels. If unopened I can store these for up to five years in a cupboard.
