E-liquid getting on my batteries

Hello All,
I was hoping to get some help. I have had a variety of atomizers and batteries over the last two years of vaping, and the one thing that they always have in common is a small amount of fluid somehow always makes it way out of the bottom and into the button of the battery. I clean it regularly but never thought it was quite right even though it seems to happen with wicked and drip atties alike. I finally gave in and bought a shiny new Itaste VTR, a simply awesome device, and much to my dismay even though the atty is a top filler and i never unscrewed the bottom fluid is still making its way out. A very small amount maybe a drop but it is there none the less. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong. I do not want to hurt my new Mod.

That little drop of juice is normal and you just need to swab it off every so often so it doesn't get baked on

Thank you for the quick response. Do you have any idea how the fluid gets out of the bottom? Is it a seal issue or are they designed that way?

Most atty's have a small hole in the bottom where it screws onto the battery, that's how.
