With my Ego C and my cheap clearomizers I've been vaping 24mg nicotine e-liquid. Yes, that's high, but I was kicking a 40+ year cigarette habit. I recently purchased an eleaf Istick 30w (which I love) and a Kanger Subtank Mini which should be in tomorrow. It occurs to me that with more vapor production I will need to dial back my nicotine. My question is...how much? Should I dial it down to, say, 3mg and bump it up if necessary? I know it's subjective, different for everybody, but any thoughts...rules of thumb? I'd appreciate your input. Thanks.

Get a small bottle of 0mg nic juice of the same flavor

Mix down to 3mg and see how that does. You can adjust the ratios up and down until you figure out which nic level suits your new gear.

Mentioning the wattage setting and the coil resistance will give the guru's more info to offer suggestions.

Good advice. Thanks. I'll know more when I get it all together. Thanks again.

I went from 24 in a Halo Triton (Kanger T2) to 12 in a STmini.
It's really what will work for you.
I will say 24 in the STmini was too much for me......
Yeah, I'm thinking 24mg would be crazy high. I tried 12mg in my current setup and, under a little stress, I was jonesing for a cigarette. Thanks for the advice

My dad smoked 2 packs a day for 40 years and he used 18mg in an atlantis sub ohm tank. 15mg wasn't enough, 18mg is perfect

This would be my suggestion to go to 18mg. I was a heavy smoker for 36 years (2 packs a day) and thought 24 was the ticket, boy was I wrong once I started using a tank set up, BTW, I love my iStick too with a Nautilus Mini. I eventually went to 18 and have backed down to 12 after vaping for 2 years at the time. 12 is perfect for me now and I think it's getting close to the time I go lower; I'm getting the occasional heart palpitations and can feel my blood pressure go up. But I have 40+ bottles of 12mg in my stable  Thinking on buying/making some 6mg and mixing what I have with that very soon.

You are just going to have to experiment for yourself. The easy way to do this, is to buy 2 bottles of the same e-liquid, different strengths. For instance, if you vaped 24mg, you could buy 6mg, and 18mg, and experiment. Mix the the 6mg liquid with the 18mg liquid in EQUAL portions, and you now have THREE different strengths. 6, 12, and 18mg.
