E-Liquid Nightmares

So I've been stuck in a horrible pattern. The e-liquid I favor is Dekang's Mango. Unfortunately I keep discovering that Dekang Mango differs greatly from vendor to vendor. Thought I'd hit the jackpot with fasttech, but on my fourth round of ordering from them the e-liquid had a horrible burnt taste. That was a few months ago and I try it every now and again to see if it's changed over time, but it hasn't. My B&M store sells it, and when they have it in stock, and the quality is consistent, but it's expensive. I've ordered from multiple other online vendors, but only my B&M store, fasttech (at least the first three times) and Steven's Wholesale seem to have any consistently. Unfortunately on my last order from Steven's I ordered the 150 ml because I'd been so pleased with the 30 ml bottles and their consistency in flavor over time. However I stupidly didn't read the fine print, and although the 10 ml and 30 ml sizes are Dekang Mango the 150 ml size is something called "HG Mango PG e-Juice" not Dekang. Which does not have a similar flavor and has a pretty intense throat burn. So I have a whole lot of unusable not Dekang 18 mg Mango that I will not vape. I ordered another batch from eliquidmarket. And they assured me they only sell Dekang liquid so their liquids are pretty consistent. It arrived today and although there is nothing wrong with it, it is a different color (more orange than yellow) and the flavor is different.

So in the end it seems I've wasted a lot of time and money trying to save time and money. I really had no idea that Dekang Mango e-liquid would differ so much from vendor to vendor. It's discouraging. And because you cannot return e-liquid it's starting to become a bit absurd.

I wouldn't be *at all* surprised if there's a lot of stuff out there with Dekang and Hangsen written on the label that is made by entirely different companies.

That's the way it is, unfortunately, Chinese IPR being what it is, so you can only find a vendor you trust and keep buying from them...

There will be variations between batches, and no doubt liquid changes over time too. But when you're making stuff on an industrial scale I'd be surprised if there were quite the variation you've experienced if it's all really coming out of the same manufacturer.

From that list there is only one US distributor and their website is down. Are there no US distributors?

There are a few more than one - I don't know what "Dekang Contracted Distributor Candidates" means, but it doesn't sound like "Selling fakes" to me ;)

I imagine some of those companies distribute around the country to the frontline vendors.

You could try sending them emails - or even emailing Dekang. I would imagine the US companies will respond, even if Dekang don't.

Greetings, and welcome to the forum.

To makes things even more confusing, I know that Dekang is sold under other brands names (e.g. Vapenjuice) -- no idea if this has anything to do with different results for supposedly the same DK flavor.

FWIW Dekang was the only e-liquid sold where I bought my first starter kit, and I thought DK USA Mix was the bomb. Four months later, I've had a chance to try some premium e-liquid brands, and USA Mix now tastes all but unvapable to me. Vaping it at the moment because I ran out of everything else (grrrr!), but right after work today I rocketing off to a vape shop to get something else!

About a year ago I recall reading about Dekang knock offs and posted pics of the labels. You might want to do a search for it as members were giving vendor names that could be trusted to have the real thing. On the juices you have now but don't like, try adding some straight VG. That will decrease nic strength of course but its worth a try and sometimes we need lower nic in the evening or when chaining. You can get USP VG off the shelf in the pharmacy at Walmart. I think CVS drug store also has it. In fact I would think most drug stores do. Another solution would be to order some Mango flavoring from Wizard Labs or One Stop DIY or any vendor carrying flavorings like Vaping Zone... try adding that to some plain VG to test if you like it and if so add it along with the VG to your unvapable juice.

Did you check on ECBlend, Ehlusion, and Mt. Baker?
Personally I am apprehensive about vaping eliquid made in China and the above are US companies.

Others I compiled from http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...2-cannot-find-good-ejuice-8.html#post11742018 the are:
FreedomSmokeUSA
backwoodsbrew.net
ECBlend (seems like a major)
Vapor 4 Life
Want2Vape
Plume Room
Nicoticket
Life Vapor
mister eliquid
Ahlusion (seems Very posh, nice Navy couple)
Mt. Baker (seems like a Major one)
Halo (Cannot go wrong)
JC (Oak)

I'm lucky, where I live are lots of B&M specialty and premium brand liquids. It's a booming market here in the SF Bay Area, but I find them to generally be too sweet, fussy and/or artificial tasting. My Mom prefers the mango from TastyVapor, but it's way too sweet for me and tastes like a mango 50/50 ice cream bar rather than mango. I find I'm not big on combo flavors or constructed flavors. And I suspect I'm a bit stuck in my ways. I want every vape to taste the same. Often try new single fruit flavors whenever I'm in a brick and mortar, but nothing I like more than the simple Dekang Mango. But as with all things e-cig should you be lucky enough to find what you want, you are then stuck with the adventure of finding a place to get it with reliable quality and consistency and a decent price.

FreedomSmokeUSA - doesn't seem to sell Dekang and site has no search option
ECBlend - doesn't sell Dekang, has their own brand of mango that's received multiple complaints
Ehlusion - doesn't sell Dekang or any mango
ECBlend - doesn't sell Dekang, has their own brand of mango
Vapor 4 Life - doesn't sell Dekang, has their own brand of mango
etc.

Sorry wasn't looking at candidates was looking at exclusive and official distributors. I see them now in the candidates list. It's weird but Vaporsxx has something called Pure Hookah Tango Mango but says nothing about whether or not it's Dekang Mango. I emailed dekang biotechnology directly. Maybe something will come of that. Thanks for the link to Dekang.

Also might be worth giving Hangsen a shot.

They're an 'offshoot' of Dekang I believe, so originally they were working to more or less the same recipes. They'll have diverged now, but might have a similar 'flavour profile' (I don't know - I've never knowingly had Dekang, although I'm sure I must have in prefilled cartos etc.)

I've enjoyed some of Hangsen's straight fruit flavours very much.

Try americaneliquidstore.com, they sell mango, not Dekang, an all American made eLiquid in the state of Wisconsin. I have never had bad eLiquid from them. Customer service is outstanding, and I have never been disappointed. I have never waited more than 4 business days from placement of order to receipt of order.

Yes he has the real thing. He's typically where I order from. However I'm irritated that the 150ml size of his 18 mg Mango was not Dekang, when all of the other sizes are Dekang. It's not technically his fault. I should have read the description more closely. But his Dekang Mango has been reliably good, he just sells something else altogether when it's in the larger size.

I appreciate the suggestion but I'm not looking to try a new liquid. I'm looking for a reliable vendor of Dekang Mango 18 mg larger than 50ml. I'm sure americaneliquidstore satisfies customers looking for American made, but I'm just looking for Dekang.
