Welp, Sir the plumber, I did factor in the nic in my calculations. I just thought I'd create a bit differently as I thought emonty's suggestion was a good one, tho I have no basis for understanding exactly why he suggested it as a better alternative. Perhaps someone can shed (3rd grade level) light on it?

At any rate, I couldn't even hold out the full 24 hours. I put the nic in this afternoon, and swirled (why swirl and not shake violently, btw?). Another 1/2 hour or so of hot water bathing, then I could not resist!

Ok, my (drum roll) "review". O M G. I knew these were going to be good, but THIS good? They're not even a day old ... they're weren't even an hour old! I had to try them out. The very first thing I noticed in addition to the amazingly tantalizing aromas and subtle nuances of tastes was the massive amount of vapor! I wasn't expecting that. I did them all at 65/35 PG/VG, not some high amount of VG. The vapor is cloud-esque. Gorgeous vape. The tastes are delicious, altho I can't really say the "true" taste of any of them as I just kept dripping away in a couple of devices. So they are blended, but even that says a lot. These flavors ALL blend well. I could not be happier with this discovery and I'm so thankful for all of you and all your wisdom and help.

I will have questions as time goes on, but for now, I'm just want to be alone with my little 6 flavors. ;) We don't want to be disturbed. Or shall I say..... don't bother me, I'm vaping...

Big Hugs to all~

One happy VZ camper-ess.

Well Darl'n sure glad you had all the numbers accounted for and your first VZ DIY was a grand one. Lots of different mix'n proceedures and everyone has a favorite way of get'n it together. I always add my nic first then add my pre-mixed pg/vg, drop in the flavor(s) put the bottle in 135 degree water for 10 minutes, give it a quick shake & put a label on it. Just so you know, we all had visions of freshly mixed bottles quietly steeping away in a dark corner where the magic takes place and non of us waited either. Come to find out all the magic happens when you hit the button and vape it.

That is was. Hit the button and vape. Love that!

AZ, you said you add your "pre-mixed pg/vg"... so you have a no nic base juice pre-made? And then you always add the same amount of nic and flavoring? And it's always the same? The math sometimes gets the better of me. Perhaps you can let me know how to do this. That would sure make things easier.

I will post more when I have the op to wake the sleeping giants.

I think I like these, a lot!

And it is wonderful to be in contact with you all. Good crowd, good vape. Thank you, sincerely.

Yes Kat, I pre-mix my pg/vg at 20/80 before hand in a big bottle. I started doing this early on in my diy career when I was mixing with the 15% to 20% pg flavors. Adding the nic and flavors to my pre-made pg/vg kept me around 75% to 80% vg as the nic & flavors would somewhat offset each other. Having the pg/vg pre-mixed saves me a little time when I mix up my liquids.

eta: Now that I'm using these alcohol based flavors at 2% to 4% I add a percent or two of PGA to help with thinning out the higher vg ratio.

I've got a sweet question for you (all).

I'm much more accustomed to bakery vapes, or sweeter/nuttier tobacco vapes (RY4 by IKV and 555 Exotic by BWB if I'm allowed to mention names [if not, tell me and I'll edit it out]). Has anyone used sweetener added to the VZ flavors? I like the B & M so far, but I must drop the Vanilla in it to add that needed (for me) dimension and a touch of sweetness. It's not quite enuf tho.

This is only after 2 days of sleeping tho. Perhaps I'm just being impatient?

I haven't tried the B&M, just ordered it yesterday. I have tried several of the tobaccos though and I've learned not to be hasty in forming judgments or doctoring them prematurely. It takes at least several days and preferably a week or two(more if you can stand it) before you know where it'll end up. It varies from flavor to flavor but some of them transform pretty substantially after steeping, though I don't know that they'll taste any sweeter.

Having said that, I find all of them plenty sweet enough so I have not attempted to add any sweetener. However, since you seem to like sweet vapes, I can understand if the sweetness of the B&M is equivalent to say the Real Cig that it might not be enough for you.

I was hanging out with friends last night, all smokers. My buddy who is trying to quit (a marlboro menthol smoker) buys electronic cigs from the gas station to cut back. He took his menthol e cig out and took a drag, "yuck, like mint."

I handed him my real cig/nuport blend: "omg, this tastes like a cigarette."

He handed it to his wife: "See, THIS tastes like a cigarette!"

Interesting to get the perspective of people that still smoke, they can taste things in a way that most of us simply can't anymore (ironic given their fried taste buds, but they're 'closer to the real thing' if you take my meaning)

Pretty cool :)

Katdarling(and I feel just a little awkward addressing you this way), you mentioned that you like your tobacco vapes a little sweeter and nuttier, and mentioned a particular RY4 as an example. You might consider giving the Island Tobacco a try as I think it has a bit of all of those elements, at least to my tastes. It's become my favorite of the VZ tobaccos of late.

Okay, that's it, I've gotta quit pimping the Island Tobacco lest I lose what little credibility I might have once had.

How's this to relieve your awkwardness... IVapusdarling, thank you for your suggestion. I've added Island Tobacco to my (HUGE) wish list!

MrB, was it the Blackberry you all were raving about early on in the thread? Or was it the Blueberry? Too sleepy to go back and check.
