e-Pipe Problem

So I ordered an e-Pipe 628 from China, and it worked for a day, but now I can't get the coil to fire. The distributor offered to take it back, but maybe someone can help me figure out what's wrong with it, so I don't have to go through the hassle of wrapping it up and shipping it back overseas (at my expense).
Anyway, it's fully charged, and I definitely know how to work it, but when I connect the bowl to the cartomizer and push the button, nothing happens. I took the bowl apart and looked for a loose wire, but everything appeared to be in working order. I've also tried all three cartomizers, and none of them work anymore. (They all worked the first day.) I'm pretty sure the battery's center pin is making a connection with the cartomizer. I even pulled the center pin of one of the cartomizers out a little bit to make sure. Is there anything else I'm missing? My daughter swears she didn't drop it when I let her use it. This is so frustrating! I can figure out pretty much anything by fiddling with it long enough, yet this thing is giving me heck! I've been at it for over a week now. :(

I'm not familiar with that particular model so these will just be guesses. When you put it on the charger does the charge indicator come on? Most do something like blink to let you know they're charged, or stay green to let you know it's fully charged. Is there any kind of indicator light when you press the button, if so, does it come on? Does it have an on/off function? Usually it would be something like five quick button presses. Lastly, you can try cleaning the contact on the battery, with rubbing alcohol on a q-tip. Hope some of that helps.

Yup, there's an indicator light on the charger. It's the typical red for "charging" and green for "fully charged". It's green.
It's a manual battery system, not an automatic. The pipe, itself has a button that lights up when you push it to fire up the coil. It doesn't light up anymore when I push it, though.
I've tried doing the five clicks to turn it on. Doesn't work. :(
I'll try cleaning the connection, but it doesn't look dirty at all.
Thanks for your replies. Keep your ideas coming. This is making me crazy, because I really enjoyed the pipe the one day it worked. :(

Oh my gourd! I just tried the 5 clicks again, and it WORKED! What the...??? I swear I already tried it twice before! Holy heck!

Welp, problem solved! Thanks, guys!

I google searched and I couldn't find anything about a 5-click lock, but I found a few references to a "5 key short circuit protection" I'm guessing that's just a really bad translation. Glad it's working for you though!
