E-Power MadVape headache!

Like everyone else, I was very excited about the modular design of the 14500 ePower. When I ordered the batteries, charger, and epower from madvapes, I was very excited to check it out when it arrived.


Only to find out that it won't work with any of my cartos. The white LED just flashes quickly without delivering any power to the carto. Some research here on ECF told me that it was due to a mistake in the design of the switch it self detecting anything less than 2 ohm as a short.

After sending it back to madvapes, communicating with a "Kyle" there, I ask for the updated switch or a full refund. They said that the switch was the problem, and sent a unit out to me, only for me to find out that it was the SAME switch that I had sent back to them in the first place!

I'm losing money on shipping things back to them, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any way to get this crap to work properly, or should I just cut my losses and abandon the ePower AND MadVapes entirely.

Have you tried to make sure that the center pin with your cartomizers are actually making connection to the epower battery? That's been an issue that some people have had as well. Sometimes you need to take some tweezers and wiggle the center pin of your carto out a little bit to see if you make a connection.

You can also pull the center pin of the e Power up a little. My e Power wasn't making a connection with certain cartos unless I messed with the center pins on occasion. It's worth a try.
