I hope you will consider letting people pre-order the spares as well. Here is why. Lets pretend that I build most of a UFS from parts but only need a connector piece. I've been waiting for the spares pre-order that's been talked about on the forum for a couple months now. Since I don't need a whole UFS I may not pre-order anything. So when my vendor gets their pre-order stuff I now have to wait for them to put them up on the website to buy. But I could miss out on my part even though I had been waiting.
Another reason for spares pre-order as well is even if I did order a copper JGG but I also need a JGG 510 cap. Well unless the vendor knows I want additional stuff when I make my pre-order they will likely send my full JGG out and I will have to make a second order for the top cap.
I know doing a pre-order for parts is going to be a large undertaking but I think adding parts to the pre-order or doing a pre-order just for parts (which was my understanding what this pre-order was for) is the best way to make sure everyone gets everything they need/want.
Also I am curious will the pre-orders only be going through ESG or will it be available from all vendors?
About the preorders,
we have decided yesterday with Imeo that you can preorder the full devices and he will make much more spares of all devices.
After Imeo produce all the devices all sellers will have online all the spares for direct order without any preorders.
This is the best and easyest way for the customers because if you see a list without categories of over 400 products the most of customer will be confused and
Stanley have to work overtime to explain all the items
Believe me it will be very hard for the customers to do it and then comes much false orders from them and we have to correct them and refund money over paypal and thousends of e-mails !!!
I think it is the best way and all of you who need only parts it is even better because you dont have to preorder and pay, you will order direct

I agree with Fright Imeo. I will want a complete copper device, but also need venting caps, stealth caps, and a just gg collector tank to complete devices I have been piecing together from parts.
I don't need full devices, have more than enough. Spares are needed. But in the years I use GG, GG has teached me patience... One more I have to wait...

With the preorder all people can finish all devices. Now we can miss some parts again and we can not finish all devices we have.
I always thought the preorder is even for all spare parts, and not only for full devices.

we all have to accept what Imeo & you decide, but
--- so much people are waiting for spares and not full devices...and there was a spare preorder promised......i hope you will change your mind about this !!!

Sorry Vassilis, but i think this way the preorder of spares and pieces is going to be a kaos as last time, is not easier the list with full units and pieces as You said before, than fight for a brass cup? Is My opinion and i think most of us think the same.

Yes, the last preorder a lot off people lose the possibility to complete the units, and now with this decision we have the same situation, fight in 5-10 minutes to buy the same pieces

We all have to accept what Imeo and you decide, but I do not agree with that decision.....

This is the second disappoint in two months... This one was caused by the first one...
The original idea of the preorder was to make customers happy, no?

I will make almost all missing parts for GG constructions cop.
I had a discussion with vasillis and he thinks that its better to run a preorder for full devices only and when they will be ready to send to all of you, spares will be availlable too for direct order.
Also, I talked to machine shop and he told me that if we want to make all GG constructions, we need at least 5 months. The amount of time is very big, so it would be better to make only 4 devices for now, that is GGTS-JustGG-Stealth-Ithaka. That way we can have the devices ready in about 1,5 -2 months

That is the one missing piece that I have wanted for 6 months
As I see, you need spares guys. Ok, I will ask my sellers what they want me to make and I will make spares. That way you will have exactly what you need and at the same time I will try to make 1-2 full devices.
