just got this from Phil
The Good News:
We have added a new model of e-Cigarette to our line up!! By Thursday you will be able to get your hands on the JOYE 510. This model is by far my favorite. The batteries and the cartridges last longer than the mini and its a great vapor producer. They also have a manual switch on the battery, it takes a little getting used to but once you do I’m sure you will fall in love with the 510 just like I did. It will come in 4 colors initially, Black, White, Blue and Purple. Currently the Purple only comes with a Purple LED and the rest come with your choice of an Arrange or a Blue LED. We will also have pass-through for the 510's.

Since we are changing the warranty on all e-Cigarette's we will also be changing the price, all models will cost 59.95 as of Thursday the 28th at 12:00am.

Phil is great but I just have to question his prices. They are through the roof- $80+ dollars for a 901 kit? He doesn't even give you the extra pack of carts anymore but he DOES give you an extra atomizer which is great. His warranties, which were fabu are now changed and not as good as they used to be- which would be one of the reasons I'd pay those prices unfortunately.
I understand the cost involved in the branding of his boxes, etc but geez. I purchased from him back when the kits were $65ish- which seemed ok with the extra atomizer and 5 additional carts.

Still, as suppliers go he is the MOST reliable, with the fastest shipping and best customer service I have found and that alone may be worth the extra price!

Sorry Phil but I had to call you out on the price/warranty changes! :p

I saw this last night when I checked on an order.
I'm so excited! I've been toying with the idea of getting a 510 --- and to get it in purple?? Yah; someone's trying to tell me to get one! LOL

As for changing the warentee; it was just a matter of time. Does he charge more than some? Yah; but it's also a matter of supply and demand.
Not to mention, I can order parts overseas and wait days, or, I can order from Phil & normally have it on my door within 72 hours.

Basically, you get what you pay for. I'm a stickler for customer service, so I'll stick with Phil when I can....

Well, his previous warranty may not have been as great as it sounded anyway. I ordered the mini from him and within about 2 weeks one of the batteries completely died. The LED would light up but it wouldn't heat the atomizer at all. I changed atomizers and tried charging it again. Nothing. The second battery started acting up soon thereafter as well and would not heat up the atomizer much at all. I tried changing atomizers, checked the charger, etc. Nothing, so I emailed them and received an RMA to send them back. I received an email today saying that they tested both batteries and could not find a problem so they're sending them back to me. So help me if they did not fix or replace those batteries and they come back still not working, I'm going to be madder than a hippo with a hernia.

That said I still think his juices are good and his initial shipping was really fast. I don't like the new higher prices though and won't shop with him again. I ordered new e-cigs and juices through Ruyan for a fraction of his prices. The fast shipping only cost me $15 and arrived in 4 days (live in U.S.).

I too have had issues with a couple batteries, but at least up to now, things have worked out for me.

I can't go to Best Buy. For some reason, I did something in a past life to tick off the Best Buy tiki gods and they are after me. It's always something; stand in line for 45+ min during the holidays; they get to me & they say "I'm sorry; I'm going on break now, you need another line....."; buy a new video recorder and there are connectors missing from the box; you name it, it's happened to me there (those are the two that have always stuck in my mind).
If hubby is with me & he conducts all the business and transaction, everything runs smoothly, but if I open my mouth to even ask a question, suddenly, everything runs down hill from there. After their 3rd strike, I don't go there unless hubby is with me.

Why am I telling you this? 'cause sometimes, the mojo just doesn't mesh between suppliers and customers. I once had a customer who every time I saw his name on the passenger list, I knew something was going to happen to his flight. Nine out of ten times, I was right. After 6 months, I actually suggest he fly XYZ to save us all future frustrations. He did and after that, we always exchanged pleasantries after that! He was happy, my crew was happy....we may have lost one customer, but it more than made up in what I was having to pay out with the misconnected customers! LOL
I've heard of people having problems with Ruyan & will never go back; others won't shop anywhere else. Ditto with East Mall, and on & on. I am sorry you had such a bad time with EST.....and I will remember your positive experience with Ruyan for those times that EST can't fullfill my needs....:thumb:

Just an FYI, his prices are still at 79.95 because his warranty hasn't changed yet. Both warranty and pricing changes will occur simultaneously.

Hi Aponi,

I actually did test the batteries personally and couldn't find anything wrong with them??? I used both for a few hours each just to be sure.

To the rest of you guys, thanks for the positive feedback. It really does mean a lot to me that you guys are happy.

If all goes well Ill have the 510's, passthrough's and cartridges on the site tonight at midnight when the warranty changes.. Ill also be dropping the price on the Classic and the Mini's as well as associated parts at the same time.

Im still not getting forum topic reply notifications.. So if I don't reply to a question ask Smokey Joe why I haven't gotten any notifications for the last 6 months!

I had that happen to me after being on a forum for 2 years.
It turned out that it was a problem with the provider (who of course denied this, "spam" control" at their end) and once I changed my e-mail addy for the notifications to a different one, I have been getting my notifications with no problem.

May be worth a try.

I have ordered from Phil in the past and have had no complaints.
I got an email from him today as well.
Glad to hear he is going to start carrying the 510s, as these have been my go to E-cig for quit a while now. The carts are slightly larger than that of a 901 but It has been my experience that the 510 goes through the juice faster. Also unless he is going to be offering the slightly longer, older version of batteries, of which I cannot attest for. The newer shorter manuals do not last longer than those of the 901. I find on average to heavy vaping, I get from anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half at best from a battery. If you have not yet experienced the 510, you are in for a e-smokeytreat. :D
But I would suggest that you buy some extra batteries and chargers. You will need them due to the short battery life. That being said, I have had no battery failures with these manual 510 batteries, and I will never go back to an auto switch again.
Also note: The 510 passthrough, which has an inline battery will save a lot of aggravation with constant battery changing.

It will be nice to have another 510 supplier. I hope that Phil's prices will be competitive with the likes of Jason at electronicstix, or the widow.

I really like doing business with Phil. Quick response and I've been able to speak with him when I needed to. I had problems with my original pen style batteries and we were able to work everything out easily to get me back to vaping. I'm new to the vaping game, so it was pretty critical that things worked properly. That said, I think that the warranty that Phil was offering was probably cutting into profits pretty significantly, thus the higher prices. All in all, dropping the price a bit and changign to a more standard warranty is a good thing for both Phil and the customers, imho.

As soon as the 510s are on the website I'm in for a set!
