E2 cartomizer and Clearomizer question

well i had been browsing clearomizers for some time now as they intrigue me and much cheaper than a map tank to see if i enjoy them .But i was curious what the Difference was between these two

i could be wrong but is it just one is Clear tubing and the other is the same just with a hard Shell?

That's it, the beauty of these is they're fairly easy to mod and seem to work better if modified with a larger reservoir.

I haven't used the clearos but am very familiar with the steel tubes. Just according to the description, there is also a capacity difference. The steel tubes hold a ml and a half and the clearos say they are two and a half.

And i agree about using them in a tank mod. These thick wick R4 E2s are better MAP tank replacements than the bowtie E2s by a long shot. I'm vaping a 3 to 1 ratio of Top Banana and Waffle in my MAP tank with one of these R4 E2s right this minute. These wick the last drop right out of the tank with no spinning, turning, or hanging my tank upside down and they produce thick, warm, flavorful vapor the whole time. The bow-tie E2s had me on the verge of selling my MAPs.
