I'm holding off until they get the threads in better shape. I read backwards a few pages to see if any of you all had been discussing this at all.

Any improvement in the threads for the 510's yet???

From what I've read in the last 30 some pages, the thread problems still exist.
That's coming from only one person that's received the ceramics so far.

It looks like we'll know more in the next few days since a much larger test group is about to receive theirs.

For anyone that has ordered from e-liquid.cn before when the package is turned over to UPS how quickly do the tracking updates come or does the tracking information get updated to reflect a UPS tracking number and than we track from UPS site?

The updates are slow and you use the same tracking number from EMS. USPS tracking is strange to say the least. Most packages I order say they left the main sorting facility and three days later they suddenly populate everything all at once and it's out for delivery.

Once the UPS gets their hands on it, I ain't never seen them track anything from anywhere. YMMV

It's not UPS.. it's USPS (United States Postal Service).

Are voltage readings without a load worth anything? Even for comparative purposes?

Reason I ask I compared several devices here and got the following:

Joye 510 mega-batt manual = 3.9v
Wetbox (14500) = 3.8v
MadVapes 510 mega-batt manual = 3.4v
Little Sister on lowest mark = 3.2v
It doesn't mean a thing unless it's regulated. Read Scottbee's measurements for more meaningful voltages:

Edit - Your Little Sister may vape very close to your measured voltage.

e-liquid.cn now carries the V-GO in a 510 version now, includes a 5 pack of the XL-Cartomizers.
I just finish juggling the budget so I can fit in another small order and they release something new *sigh*.
Was going to order a couple new batteries for my eGo but may go with this instead to go with the 510 XL cartomizers I ordered.

All the best, Happy Vaping,
Wing.

That's really wild, the vgos I got have been very good ecigs, and the website said the 510 vgo is also 3.7 to 4.2 volts, 650mah.

Thank's for posting, now I may have to order one of those too, since I do have some 510 CE2cartos also :D

So a vGo is an unregulated eGo thingy... noted!

I'm looking forward to seeing what the 'final' verdict is on the 'final' version of these E2 cartos... ceramic(?), lack of glue stuffs(?), improved threads(?), improved refillability(?)... i'll keep checking back every now and then.

I got my Wetbox working for the time being so I tried my first dry burn. I've seen 'bad's vid. Just to make sure I got it right; I rinsed it/let it dry, then pressed the button in ten second bursts until I didn't see any smoke burning off. The coil still looks dark but I guess that's probably the ash. I remember reading where someone brushed it off w/ a dental pick/brush.

Upon looking at the coil I think I know why this one started to leak. One slot is noticeably wider than the other. This is probably the culprit. I figured I'd do the dry burn to try it so when the ceramics come in I'll be ready.

yes thats the other major plus with the ceramics, there wont be any worry about warping. it happens with some of the plastic ones since there was 2 versions of plastic, a thin and a thick one, the thin one eventually warps causing the slits to widen in a wierd way and that causes leaking as well.
I never liked the plastic to be honest for a different reason but not so different, if you look in the cup at the coil and dry burn it, when it glows the coil seems to touch the edge of the slits, well i was never comfortable about having the coil heat/melt plastic slowly as i vape.

now you can dry burn without worry about warping the cup plus ceramics should be healthier then plastic.

Awesome, thanks 'bad'. I can't wait for the ceramics myself. Did I have the process right; 10 second burns until no smoke is seen? And, do you clean the coil again after done burning?

if your wick is wet you can do longer presses, or many more bursts of 10 seconds.

if its dry ,10 seconds one is fine, even after it starts to glow you need to repeat that a few times until the wick looks white again, if any residue is still left over you can brush it off like prescribed, you can also blow very hard into it.

when your done the coil might still be dark with a sheen of silver sometimes, just look at the wick are, if its back to white/grey its good to go.
