Jusy for grins I took my 3.2ohm OBTanked cartotank off my ProVari, which I normally run at 5.4v, and put it on my Semovar. Since I had just been using a 2.0ohm kayfun on it I had it set to 4.4v. Even at that setting I received an E3 error on the Semovar. Here is a description of the error from the manual:
It is impossible to hold the level of output voltage / wattage. This error can be caused if the output power you have set up passed the voltage range of 3V-6V with the atomizer resistance you are using.
It will be shown too if you are passing the wattage range of 3W-15W.
I didn't try to reduce the voltage as it wouldn't have been a satisfying vape anyway. I took the tank and put it back on the ProVari and no issues. Put the kayfun back on the Semovar, again no issues. Anyone else come across this with a higher resistance atty?
BTW: 4.4v at 3.2ohms resistance is <1.4 amps and just over 6 watts.
