Hello and welcome.
Do you suffer from tmj? I ask because of the movements in the muscles used to smoke and vape are similar. May have nothing to do with the devices at all, just the way you use your muscles to draw in that smoke or vapor. I too suffer from tmj and you know that the pain is blinding sometimes. Just a thought. If it doesn't fit or sound like you, then throw the idea away. No harm, no foul..

I haven't talked to my doctor about it, not bad enough of a problem to be worth paying the money for another appt again this month. I've been having a few health issues, hence the switch back to vaping. I don't know much about tmj so I have no idea if I have it. The earaches used to be really bad though, but the worst ones only happened a couple of times not lasting SUPER long. Thank you for the info though! I will do some research :)

The only time I had ear aches were when I had a bacterial infection in my ear.

I doubt your liquid or vaping is causing this, because PG and VG don't allow bacteria to propagate, nicotine is naturally antiseptic and vaporizing on a glowing coil pretty much kills anything that might have survived far enough on the wick.

You really don't want medical advice from a bunch of e-cig amateurs and hobbyists, do you?

Might be great motivation to quit both smoking and vaping

Quit vaping?? lmao, yeah right! Haha thanks for the reply :)

LOL, well, I guess it all depends on how much pain you're in.

When I read your first post I thought of the Smith and Dale skit that has this in it somewhere:

SMITH: Doctor, it hurts when I do this.
DALE: Don't do that.

I think if there were any physiological mechanism whereby vaping caused earaches, we'd have already heard about it in the news (given how the ANTZ jump on any reported adverse reaction to ecigs and shout it to every media outlet they can) or at the very least here on ECF.

Be that as it may, I repeat my earlier advice to OP: see a specialist! A family member had recurring "earaches," refused to see them as a problem and refused to get medical advice or treatment. Five years later, she had lost 95% of her hearing in that ear.
