what pg/vg ratio would you recommend?

I always order 50/50 from Rawr...but you can choose any ratio you want. I can't speak to that juice specifically, but it seems most people like to order around 70/30 PG/VG...I've just found 50/50 to be what I like and typically what I order from all vendors (when I have the choice)

ECblends. Tastes EXACTLY Like Earl Grey tea, at least with extra flavor (but with extra flavor it does taste like strong tea). It's not sweet in the least. I like it.

ZOMG. I agree. ECB's Earl Grey tastes EXACTLY like the real thing. And I love it.

But to me, it does taste sweet. Actually, it tastes exactly how I take Earl Grey: w/ 2 spoonfuls of sugar and no lemon....

How can that be?!?

Well, did you add sweetener? Lol. It also may be that I get it with extra flavor. It's a very strong flavor.

Nope. Didn't add sweetener. I have a bottle of "regular" and a bottle of "XF" -- and on a totally non-scientific "smell-the-bottle" test, the XF smells less sweet.

So it could very well be that the base is slightly sweet, and then the XF cuts the sweetness w/ more Earl Grey-ness.

If I can bring myself to try my Youtube-inspired drip cartomizer (why does this thing scare me?), maybe I can do a back to back.

Edit: Oh yeah... that's exactly the difference: The regular is more sweet than the XF.
